Imagine your stillborn baby being placed in a brown paper bag and left on the floor of a funeral parlour for almost two years, surrounded by decomposing bodies, including other babies.
That was the horrific reality for little baby Sunny at Legacy Independent Funeral Directors in Hull, where 35 bodies were discovered.
Sunny’s mother believed she had given her precious boy a dignified funeral and that the ashes she held were his. They weren’t. Her baby had been left in conditions no human being should ever endure.
Meanwhile, the man responsible pocketed millions and claimed he couldn’t afford the electricity bill. He received 20 years in prison. These families have been handed a lifetime of horror.
My good friend Karen Dry has been fighting for proper regulation of the funeral industry to ensure this never happens again.
I’m asking you to do one simple thing. Sign this petition and share it.
Do it for baby Sunny, the other babies and every adult whose remains were treated with such appalling disrespect.
No child, no family and no human being deserves this.

The poster is a standard "no trick or treat" notice from Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Council for residents (esp. elderly/vulnerable) who do not want unexpected callers. It contains no mention of Halloween upsetting religious or cultural beliefs.
