There is an issue where financial institutions are refusing to process payments related to the overseas distribution of Japanese content—effectively blocking revenue earned from sales on platforms like Steam. Japanese creators in the industry feel this is a serious threat, but unfortunately, the Japanese government has not yet recognized it as a problem. We must ensure that the voices of those directly affected are heard and that the doors are opened. We ask for the support of all those who cherish freedom of expression.
Japan Financial Services Agency reportedly says selling adult games alone shouldn’t be grounds for debanking. Issue still not recognized as widespread enough to warrant action, however

RIP Sir Patrick Stewart, he was originally the narrator for Nightmare Before Christmas but the makers decided to go in a different direction but Danny Elfman loved Stewart's narration so much that it was included on the soundtrack. Here's Stewart's closing narration:

Another shitty death in a year of shitty deaths. Patrick Stewart was one of my favorite actors, and Captain Picard is more or less a north star. Seeing that he and the TNG cast were all really close for years after the show ended kind of shows how cool of a guy he was. RIP
REMEMBERING PATRICK STEWART
Patrick Stewart, the legendary actor best known for portraying Captain Jean-Luc Picard in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.
His family said in a statement: "We announce with great sorrow the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart yesterday at his home in Los Angeles, in the loving care of his beloved wife Sunny, following a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia."
"His sonorous voice and singular talent will forever be synonymous with indelible performances in every genre. He explored the human condition in all its poetic complexity and brought hope not only to the far reaches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but into science fiction’s most iconic final frontier aboard the Starship Enterprise... He will be remembered for the dignity, compassion and humanity he brought to every role - in his art and life."

Patrick Stewart was once filmed dancing and singing on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D in 1991 as a birthday surprise for Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Though never intended for public release, a copy of the clip eventually surfaced as a bonus feature on a DVD.
Rest in peace 🙏

Patrick Stewart was an acting legend. From his time doing Shakespeare, playing Piccard and Professor X, and even having animated gems like The Prince of Egypt and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind under his belt. I'm really sad to hear of his death at 86. He lived a good life.

All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
