Zach Sieler says Dolphins "have the guys to win in this league", praises work ethic and maturity of young players:
"There's teams I've been on with veterans where we haven't done (scheme) like this. These guys have really taken the next step.
The way they're seeing the game, they're starting to understand it better. All of us - including myself - seeing the picture through Haf's eyes.
These guys to be able to step in - JRod, Taaffe, Chris (Johnson), Juju - it's really exciting to see those guys take full ownership and be able to handle the checks. I've been on teams with older guys who haven't been able to to get this many checks, and these guys have just been taking full ownership."
PS @hangurll that shirt is absolutely 🔥

On Christian Haynes - the third year guard Miami claimed on waivers from Seattle - keep in mind Jon-Eric Sullivan worked with John Schneider for 8 years in Green Bay. So if Sully wanted any intel, he had a pretty good source.
Remember Haynes having a good Senior Bowl.

Jacob Rodriguez still in the mix for DROY. Chris Johnson deserves to be in the top 10 as well.

Jordyn Brooks says young Dolphins team is delusional, feels like they'll win every game they play:
"We've got to start somewhere. I hope for the young guys this gives them hope, this is what it's like to win in this league.
We've got a bunch of warriors. I know a bunch of people from the outside don't believe that because of the record, but the locker room is made of a lot of dawgs. A lot of guys who are mentally tough, eventually the fruits of our labor will be shown to everybody."

Caleb Douglas credited a tendency of Minkah Fitzpatrick he noticed on tape for his long TD vs. Jets:
"I know Minkah is a guy who really likes to come down and try to tag you, so I kinda was trying to see how he was moving and felt I had an edge."

Jon-Eric Sullivan stood in front of the media after night 1 of the NFL Draft and said 'no apologies' after he drafted Kadyn Proctor #12 overall (& reportedly refused an offer from the Lions to get him).
And he knew what the f**k he was doing.

Dolphins training staff under Sully and Haf has gone largely unnoticed, but they are doing a far better job than what we had last year.
Todd Hunt (pictured) came in from the Packers, and the Dolphins also recruited a couple of guys from college programs. The early returns have been encouraging.

People outside the Dolphins community are not talking enough about what Miami's rookie class is doing.
Kadyn Proctor has played 357 snaps at guard, been a force in the run game and yielded only 13 pressures (1 sack) in six games
Chris Johnson is developing into a CB1 before our eyes. He's physical, scrappy. Hasn't allowed a TD since week 1. Johnson's played the second most snaps of any rookie corner (362) allowing just 206 yards.
Jacob Rodriguez remains top 5 in the NFL in tackles despite playing a game less than the guys ahead of him, and still leads the league in defensive stops (28).
Caleb Douglas led all rookies in separation week 1, got hurt in week 2, and in his first game back against the Jets scored his first 2 touchdowns
Chris Bell is showing signs of being closer to the explosive cutter he was at Louisville every week.

Jeff Hafley praised Greg Dulcich's best game of the sesaon Sunday vs. Jets
"Watching Greg break some tackles, make some plays. The one we had on a screen we didn't even block the guy and he (still) made a huge play in the red area."

Jeff Hafley wasn't expecting to receive a gatorade / water shower from his players, but he appreciated it:
"I could sense that just as I was excited for the players, the players were excited for the coaches and myself. I think that says a lot about the team we have."

Jeff Hafley's message to the pro-tankers after the Dolphins got their first win:
"I have a hard time even trying grasping (people wanting to lose for draft position) to be honest with you. Every move we make, every day we got to try to go win. I hope they see that, I hope they're happy that we won."
