So proud of our pupils - a credit to the school and their families #ProudToBeBrechin
🇫🇷 Our Social Subjects Paris trip was amazing! Highlights: Eiffel Tower, Seine cruise, WWI sites (Newfoundland Park & Wellington Quarry), a hot day at Disneyland 🎢, plus travel days with long journeys, chilling on a Normandy beach & Europe’s biggest aquarium! #ProudToBeBrechin

Some fab employer engagement to round off the term! 🚜♻️⚡️Ross-Agri came in to discuss precision farming with our S3 Geographers and some of our S3 CELtT class visited MVV Baldovie to learn about the waste to energy process.

Thanks.
A fantastic morning of presentations.
Congratulations to Libby, Daisy and Isla for winning our @ypi_scotland final on Wednesday for @CancerTayside.

Great examples of charity engagement and some very moving moments.
A hard decision but the group winning £3000 for their chosen charity was Tayside Cancer Support.

Come and join us at Brechin HS - as a full or part time Maths teacher. We are a small rural-ish school with amazing facilities (& an ex Maths teacher as HT 😁) Still time to apply!

Lots of positive comments about our young people from all our visitors today, and lovely to welcome so many of the Brechin community keen to work with our pupils.
What a wonderful afternoon hosting our @ypi_scotland Charities Fair! I’m so proud of our S3 pupils for their engagement with the charities who came - feedback about our young people was outstanding 👏

Over the course of 23/24 I’ve delivered almost 190 Advisor support meetings with over 120 different schools. Added to that are LA, HT and other stakeholder sessions. It’s been a fabulous year! My thanks to all that I’ve worked with.
What a few days! The first whole-school sports day for years with VERY competitive rounders from pupils/staff 🫣(well done team Menmuir 🏆), Sports & Endeavour Awards, Prizegiving, P7Parents Eve & our Reading Ambassadors with this fabulous interview #ProudToBeBrechin
Fabulous interview with our Head of Education, @KellyMc38181813 for the Reading Ambassadors' Prêt Radio podcast this afternoon. Hugely enjoyable booky chat about the power of reading.

We are so lucky to have this land nearby- and to have had the efforts of so many people to make this actually happen. All our S1-S3 (& many seniors and staff) have each planted a tree - now to see whose grows fastest!
Young people in S1-S3 from @BrechinHigh1 have teamed up with Scotia Homes & @WoodlandTrust to take the first step in developing the local school community garden to offer rural learning & improve wellbeing & sustainability opportunities 👉 angus.gov.uk/news/school_chi…

The difference in the numbers of pupil attending virtual supported study sessions has been massive for us this year. 3 pupils after school F2F or 29 pupils virtually at 6pm.
These higher attendee numbers have continued during the holidays too!!!
Want to increase impact? Try this! – at Scotland, United Kingdom
104 pupil attendees so far this week!
These amazing virtual sessions, ran by Mrs Dymek, are continuing for the rest of the week.
Will you be joining one of them? #ProudtobeBrechin #Revision
