Svi Mykhailiuk is 4/22 from the field in the last 5 games. He gives us absolutely nothing if he’s not making shots.

So much love and respect for BYU @kalanifsitake @Pouha91 and the people of Provo.
From the minute we parked, it was “Welcome to Provo,” “Good luck today,” “Go Cats.” People offered us food and drinks from their tailgates. Inside the stadium, same thing even ice cream at 2nd quarter . And their crowd was electric
I sat in ADA seating with my father in law and he was wearing his Fifita #1 jersey. People constantly checked on him and treated him with nothing but respect, even when Arizona made a play. They probably thought i was his care giver, lol.
Made me think, this is what real competition should look like. Welcome people into your home, treat them with respect and grace, then when the ball is kicked off, try to knock each other’s heads off.
We hosted our first league games Sunday , six games from 9AM–7PM. I told our staff: make everyone feel welcome. If someone genuinely can’t pay at the door, let them in. Let them watch their kid.
If we want to change the culture at the high school and college level, it starts in youth .
And I don’t think it’s a coincidence faith is at the center of BYU’s culture. Jesus welcomed everyone to His table.
Compete hard. Cheer loud. Want to win BAD. But still love people.
Appreciate the love , Provo.

My takeaway is Bo Nix is criminally underrated.
Mahomes has the postseason edge.
Nix is stacking regular-season wins & production.
Herbert is still Herbert.
Three QB1s. One division.
What's your takeaway just from the numbers?

Jusuf Nurkic shared some thoughts about the Utah Jazz:
“They’re the best organization I’ve played for in my 12-year career.”
“The young guys on the team, I was having a hard time explaining to them. This is not the NBA. This is not every team.”
“There is a certain standard teams shouldn’t be below, but they are. When you have what you have, you wanna keep it that way. I think that was the hardest thing for me to explain to the young guys. This is elite, this is not everywhere else.”
The feeling is mutual Big Nurk @bosnianbeast27!

I’m not a GM for many reasons. Mostly, because I’m an idiot. But, this seems like a type of situation the Jazz should jump all over. Trade Brice, Flip and a couple first rounders in a sign and trade. Sign him to the same contract you offered Kessler. I just feel like this Jazz team is a center away from being a legit contender. I’d hate to see that potential window wasted. Can they really get a better center in the next 3 years than JD? I don’t see it.
REPORT: Jalen Duren is “fed up” with the Pistons and “really wants out” of Detroit.😳

AJ looked good in the first half, absolute attack mode. Supremely confident. But he has far more Summer League help than DPeterson has. Still say DPeterson will be a little better.

Another thing I love about DP, is he has a little bit of “screw you” in him. Things that are NOT coincidental tonight: 1) This kind of a performance against a player people debated should have been drafted over him. 2) 12 assists to show people who doubted his turnovers last game, and to prove he is a playmaker for other players too.
Like, he knows what he’s doing. He enjoys giving the middle finger on the court.
