Really not much of a fan of TCGPlayer's tracked envelope solution. Yes, it is a step in the right direction, but I foresee it causing quite a bit of confusion and friction between buyers and sellers
First off, its only available via a packing slip meant for use with a windowed envelope. I don't use windowed envelopes. The ink, paper, and envelopes themselves are expensive compared to other options. Not to mention the added time each order would take to package folding and aligning the slip instead of peeling and sticking a 4x6 label as I do now. A better solution would have been allowing sellers to print the barcode in the way that works for them. Including an option to buy the postage direct from our seller funds
Second, not all orders will qualify for tracked envelopes. The email mentions specifically verified addresses. If you sell online in any kind of decently large capacity, you'll know that a shocking number of people don't know where they live. Or they will configure the address incorrectly such as putting Apt number before their street address. If they market this feature heavily to buyers, they will expect it to apply to their order. And believe me when I say it is not easy to convince someone that they wrote their address wrong. I've dealt with it many times
In a similar vein, since buyers will begin to expect the tracking, they will follow it closely for updates. We all know how unreliable envelope tracking can be if you ever bought or sold using ebay standard envelope. Yes, you as the seller will be protected as long as the order shows at least 1 scan. However, sometimes even that is too much to ask though. I do not like that my seller protections hinge on USPS doing their job correctly. And in the event that updates are slow or non-existent, communication with the buyer about why the delay is happening won't be easy. Most people don't understand the system and will interpret your explanation as an excuse. I've experienced this many times while giving TCGtracking updates to buyers. I hope a system will be in place to have official communication from TCGP if a buyer has over the top concerns
I'm very much looking forward to discussing this in more detail with my rep next week. Its a good first step. Hopefully not the only one

To anyone who ever considers doing business with @NaloVideo, please reconsider. Took $390 from me 2 and a half months ago for a sale after completing multiple deals, never sent tracking and only made excuses, and carries on like they didn't scam me and kept pushing me off. Evidence will be attached tomorrow.
I've had the case listed on TCGP for over a month at $1050. Finally gave up on it at the start of this week and listed 6 individual boxes instead. Someone buys all 6 anyway 🤷♂️

There are people on here that will post all day “market watching” this and that, but when the time comes for them to buy something and someone sells at market they are all up in arms.
How can you post eBay sales, collectr, state of the market, etc., but then be mad at someone trying to get full value for their items? Some of the most hypocritical people in this hobby are the ones trying to make the most money.
This isn’t targeted at anyone in particular. Just posting my observations and (some) people’s attitudes.

Long story short:
Most of y’all know I totaled my car. Spent $1k to get my old Honda up and running. It died immediately 🤣
Need to buy a new car ASAP, I’m done messing w car repairs. Have a bunch of sealed to move. Wondering if anyone would run a massive consignment waffle (or multiple) for me, possibly for a reduced fee 🤷🏻♂️
I’m NOT looking for charity or anything of that nature. I have stuff I can sell to cover a nice down payment on a new vehicle. I just need help moving it. I have a lot of desirable product, not just a bunch of duds.
