My message to the AP Voters, CFP Committee, and 99% of the College Football media.
Audio on 🔊 (trust me it’s not what you expect)
UTSA, Boise State, Oregon State, New Mexico, and NDSU
We are halfway through the season and that’s the entire pool of G6 teams who have shot at making the CFP.
Imagine this this scenario.
Texas Tech 12-1 (loses CCG to Houston)
Houston 12-1 (wins CCG)
BYU 11-1 (only loss to Utah)
Utah 11-1 (only loss to Houston)
All four would get into the CFP.
And THIS is why the SEC and Big 10 are conspiring against the Big 12 and the ACC.
Can't have this.
If this can happen in Provo, why not Stillwater, Blackburg, or Louisville ?
What if people realize that the Big 12 is a 3-bid league?
Or even worse... College Football is fun everywhere?

The Big 12 and ACC have forced the hand of the SEC and Big 10, and they've responded by a schedule agreement and isolating the ACC/Big 12.
Miami made the CFP Semi-Final last year, and now the Big 12 has three Top 10 teams with Houston and Arizona also ranked.
Meanwhile NIL and the transfer portal have equalized the competition in the SEC/Big 10 so both of those conferences are hurting themselves while dominant brands still exist in the Big 12/ACC.
This has angered those two conferences as their grip and control of all of college football power seems to be slipping a bit.
This scheduling agreement will basically make it so that there is no data point between the Big 12/ACC and the Big 10/SEC.
We fight on.
The Big 10/SEC schedule agreement is a compliment to the Big 12 and ACC, however at the same time is a nuclear level response in an attempt to get anyone not in the SEC/Big 10 eliminated from any kind of national relevance.
I'll go into all of that on tonight's show.
9.2 million viewers for Notre Dame vs BYU + 3 million for College Gameday is MASSIVE for this conference whether you’re a UCF, WV, or Utah fan!
🏈 @ESPNCFB scored in Week 7 with 3 of the top 4 most-viewed games

Leave the SEC footprint and more people tune in!
What a weekend in Provo, Utah ‼️
@CollegeGameDay reached 3M viewers from @BYU, making it the most-watched episode this season & the 3rd most-watched regular season episode EVER 📈
Would you like to see the Big 12 play their biggest conference game of the week on Friday night?
Maybe have a max of two Friday night games?
Hard to predict in the preseason, but we probably would have had something along the lines of:
Week 2: Arizona vs BYU
Week 3: Houston vs Texas Tech*
Week 4 Oklahoma St vs West Virginia
Week 5: UCF vs Houston
Week 6: Iowa State vs BYU*
Week 7: Oklahoma State vs Houston
Week 8: Kansas State vs Arizona State
Week 9: Arizona vs Texas Tech
Week 10: BYU vs Utah
Week 11: Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State
Week 12: Utah vs TCU
Week 13: Kansas State vs Iowa State
Own Friday night and become something the nation watches similar to the old Pac 12 after dark.
It's interesting to see how much the media only focuses on teams in the Top 25.
The last three weeks I've been screaming that Arizona should be ranked while the media ignored them.
Now Arizona comes off a BYE week and is 25th, and suddenly the media loves them and they could win the Big 12.
This is LITERALLY the same team as 2 weeks ago, they haven't played a game since, so what is the change?
Seriously, the vast majority of national media members are very lazy.
Looked at the rest of the "gauntlet" Alabama has this season and saw this.
They could likely lose to LSU and still make the CFP with their best two wins being Kentucky and Miss State.
