Ferg’s sports bar in St. Pete next to the Trop reported over $1.2 million in sales over the 3 days where the World Series was in Tampa Bay. They sold over 84,000 beers, and 45,000 wings. They estimate that October will earn them 3 months of revenue in just 1 month 🤯

It’s not hating on the Rays to say they’re just not an economically viable MLB market. Not dealing with the traffic in May is one thing, but no excuses in Late October. They should cancel the Tampa stadium plans and start the relocation plans. New park hasn’t helped the Marlins.
