Liechtenstein only realised they had the same flag as Haiti when they both competed at the 1936 Olympics. Liechtenstein added a crown to their flag in 1937 to avoid further confusion.

You might remember Tuscany being under Austrian rule, and the red & white are reminiscent of that flag, but in fact they have been Tuscany's colours since the 10th century. I'm a big fan of this flag - it ticks all the right boxes for a great regional - or national - flag.
