funniest thing about the dude who sparked the phys/spec split debate is that they actively dislike pokemon. defending the honor of some shit I don’t even like because it’s old and therefore better than the new shit I also don’t like

I've never been pavlov'd this quickly I read the first line of this tweet and genuinely thought it was gonna be about how feederism would be better if there was a gorilla with a tesla cannon
Tedesco Impregnator ⚣@qindlassOct 27
I like feederism but it be a better fetish if their was less focus on "ruining" someone's body + humiliation of omce athletic and conventionally attractive people and instead like...an actual love and appreciation of fatness

you gotta understand there’s a very loud contingency of Gamers on here with the mindset of “if it came out before i turned 13 its flawless kino. if it came out after I turned 13 its soulless slop”
Nate 🦑@squidslayernateOct 26
Some people act like removing HMs from modern Pokemon was a bad idea as if they didn’t just force you to have a team of 5 and a boat-plane-scissors hybrid in your party 😭

anyone else feel like HSR is just losing its originality?? this new character looks like they just copied Ellen from ZZZ...
Honkai: Star Rail
@honkaistarrailOct 27
Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication | Ellen "Thanks for requesting me. Ellen Joe, subpar employee of Victoria Housekeeping, at your service. You need me to make omurice, cast a deliciousness spell on your coffee, or... clean out some pests? ...You aren't actually gonna order the first two, are you?" Diligently slacking off, punctually late... Today is just another day of this working gal getting defeated by her alarm clock! Despite having to do holiday homework even in another world, and frequently falling asleep standing up despite being the tour group's bodyguard... But please, whatever you do, don't mess with her. Aside from that languid tail, she's also got razor-sharp shark teeth.

pss haters have the funniest perception of game design. if you want your magic fire monster to effectively use fire you’re an idiot baby
Nahobino JD@SummonerFlashOct 26
Learnsets are somewhat valid but I’m a full-on physical/special split hater these days. The idea that Pokemon can only be well designed if they’re firing STAB attacks off of their biggest attacking stat is stupid

Physical/Special split haters always want to argue using a stat spread/ability like mawile’s to bite a lairon to death for 9 turns is actually a viable strategy but will never utter a peep about how fun that is to do.

if I said what work of “trans art” hit closest to my heart they’d kill me several times over
Olgaa@brdmoedrOct 26
Trans art discourse is pointless cause the piece of "trans art" that resonated with me the most was made by a middle-aged Japanese dude who most likely didn't even originally intend it.

unfortunately the easiest way to my heart is actually just making a genderbend manga that’s weirdly sincere about it
