Patrick Stewart's death is a good excuse to share one of my favourite scenes from TNG ("Ethics").
Patrick was awesome. Easily the best actor in the entirety of the franchise (though I also love Shatner). God rest his soul.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

35 years later, and it still feels like home. 💛🍯 Happy anniversary to The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

A terrible day for the videogame industry.
BioWare made Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II and Mass Effect 1-3 in one console generation. Between 2007-2012. Every game incredible.
How do you take one of the most talented, disciplined and proven entertainment studios on the planet and completely shutter them in less than 15 years after a run like that?
BioWare's brands and the studio's well earned respect, which had been a magnet for generations of talented game creators, were incalculably valuable.
Reduced to bullet points on a balance sheet.
Near sighted. Unbelievable. Irreplaceable.
Unforgivable.

One more thing:
PlayStation should 100% commit to publishing their games on PC again.
All of them.

PlayStation should update the PS5 to play PS2 and PS3 discs right now.
And let people connect disc drives to play PS1 discs.
They should also enter into new agreements and partnerships to allow publishers to reprint classic physical games and ship them to retailers.
If they want to end physical media with PS6, there’s a way to do it that honours the PlayStation fans, collectors and partners that still want that option.
