Let’s keep the conversation open about suicide, mental health and mental illness. Every conversation breaks down barriers fosters compassion and provides a lifeline for those in need. Together we can make a difference. 💜 #EndTheSilence #MentalHealthAwareness

Every 90 minutes, a life ends by suicide in the UK. This is precisely the length of a football match – the roar of the crowd, the tension, the last-minute drama, the final whistle and then the long walk home with friends still buzzing and alive with possibility. However, for someone’s family and friends, there’s no final whistle, no extra time, no next match. Instead, there’s an endless silence, a chair left empty at the dinner table, a phone that will never light up with their name again, and a future stolen in a moment of unbearable pain. Behind every statistic is a person who mattered – a son, daughter, parent, sibling, best friend whose light was dimmed by despair they felt they couldn’t bear alone. If you’re struggling, please know your life matters more than you might feel right now. There are people who love you, even if it’s hard to see, and real help is waiting for you. You’re not alone; reach out, stay, and there’s still time 💜
