Kiddy Coleman comes to Essendon specifically identifying our strong indigenous heritage as a factor. Days later, Nik Cox is delisted. Which number did he wear? 13. The number made famous by indigenous icon Michael Long. Coleman taking over 13 makes all the sense in the world

At this point I reckon I get more support from the Bluebaggers on here than Essendon! 😅 ILYT my friend ❤️🖤

I'm stoked for Fages at Carlton & Horse at Essendon. Two absolute legends of the game with multiple successful stints getting powerhouses back where they *both* belong? Sign me tf up

Chris Fagan is joining Carlton. In a huge off-season coup, the Blues have won the race for the triple premiership coach, beating out a big field to secure his services. Devils and Pies had come hard, but Fages will be at Ikon Park. More on Sen.com.au

It's staggering anyone took this seriously. Yeah, the 36yo who today announced his retirement, will renege within 24 hours to join a club that won only two games rather than staying at a top-4 team who's a genuine flag contender... It should require a licence to use twitter
Yeah sure Dane... ✌️retiring✌️ This ain't our first rodeo my man... Sheedy pulled Mal Michael out of retirement & obviously this is the trajectory of Rampe's future. See you nice & early in 2026, big preseason ahead 👏👏

And next on the non-sarcastic, completely earnest Essendon off-season of 2026, I can exclusively reveal the Bombers are close to signing Alex Rance, Tony Liberatore, Tony Modra, Phillip Matera, Darryl White, Bret Kirk & Clive Waterhouse MORE TO COME

Did ASADA tick this off? Looks pretty performance enhancing to me...
The AI race is on at AFL clubs. And Essendon great James Hird has jumped behind the steering wheel as global head of sports at Affinda. He and CEO Tim Toner say clubs (including Hawthorn) are already ahead of the pack. Big three months in this space. heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/j…

Was @kanecornes ever held accountable for the 2026GF Wharfie Time debacle?

Thanks for everyone who's kept patient on the podcast side of things, & improbably, helped me grow the account dramatically in engagement. I've debated internally about whether or not I can do it alone, but fk it, I'm going all in for 12 months & we'll see. After a few speedbumps - my new FP era will *finally* begin Friday ❤️🖤

"I like Farrow. He should be kicking in… he needs to be in priority positions. That's what he's gonna be doing in the future.” Ethan Drever has some thoughts about the Bombers, and the Bombers have some thoughts about the pick one chance. #AFLDraft espn.com.au/afl/story/_/id/5…

Interesting article on some draft stand outs & their childhood teams, with a few Dons fans thrown in the mix. *HOWEVER* I don't recall a single Essendon player ever wearing the famous "red and gold" kit, but i could be wrong 😅 foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-dra…

This is one of my all-time Round 1 wins. Crows were fresh off the 2017 GF & we lost in an EF to the Swans. Adelaide were heavy favourites & took a 20 point lead to the last. Then the game got flipped on its head. We steamrolled them in front of 43,016 fans, with maybe 300-400 Crows supporters/attendees. The roar was insane. The kind of pop you can only get from a 99.99% crowd of home fans in a stadium with a roof ❤️🖤

Ask @nuggi if he remembers thinking i ignored him on the way out only to hug him and lift him over my head 😅

Side note: Bruce was closing in on retirement soon at this point, but he still runs rings around the garbage callers these days. We didn't know how good we had it with him & Dennis (RIP). One of the greatest commentator duos in sports history

I understand people are worried about Tassie's 1st draft & their amount of picks, but that doesn't guarantee success. In their first draft, GWS had a formidable suite of picks, but it's fair to say it wasn't the franchise cornerstone they anticipated. A year later they once again dominated the top 10 but left some serious talent on the board for a few busts

Just when you thought the Solly saga has reached its logical conclusion, something like this happens to remind you of how shambolic his return to Essendon really was

Nothing wrong with going back to Gold Coast, more about the last 12 months: going from the board, to assistant coach to caretaker only to leave the club shortly thereafter. That's shambolic to me, you might disagree, and that's fine

If Arki Butler is still on the board around 6-8, we have to make that happen. Take the fast, powerful & bankable Ethan Drever, then trade back in to get Butler, a match-winning talent with flare & f50 swagger we haven't seen in years. My dream scenario ❤️🖤
Pick swap news ahead of the Draft👇 - Brisbane is shopping pick 21. The first pick of night two is absolutely up for grabs. - Collingwood has looked at trading up from pick 11. - GWS unlikely to move from pick 9 before the draft. - Port open to shuffling back picks 7 and/or 12.
