The final goal of AI companies is to end personal computing which in simple terms means to remove all access to digital devices from genral public. You can already see how prices of laptops, phones and PCs are being artificially inflated so no one can afford them anymore.
This is the largest endeavour to move digital assets from people to the technocrats. They recognise the monetary value which internet affords to common people and want to take it away. After they've taken away all your phones & PCs they will sell you a rectangle box which would run on a cloud and would require a constant subscription, this is their long game.

not africa. cambodia. contract with the fao under world health org. pesticide use had contaminated soil. taught them alternative pesticides (tobacco, chillis and soap). brought in tons of grain - resistant grasses, grains and legumes. spent two seasons teaching them the basics of planting through to growth cycles and harvest methods. how to categorize and store. how to keep records. how to maximize yield. 18 months. left in july. by the time it hit september they had used all the grain to ferment hooch and flooded their fields in the hopes it would fill with fish and frogs, which you 'harvest' by poisoning the water, collecting the corpses and leaving to dry in the sun under a layer of insecticide to keep the flies off.

My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food.
They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching.
They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.
