What’s comical, perhaps more sad, are people talking about matters that they are completely clueless about yet people will fawn over the bullshit they’re saying. These same people have suave demeanor enough to fool most, but when they’re talking about subject matters that you are an expert in and know the truth, you either call them out or walk away. I’m old enough to know that these egomaniacs won’t change or back down. So I walk and laugh.

In my 35 years as an Air Traffic Controller, I have heard countless radio transmissions, including emergency calls. But listening to the recording of the Mayday call from this tragic flight in Florida was one of the most painful and heartbreaking moments I have ever experienced.
Behind every Mayday call is a human being fighting for survival, a voice desperately hoping to make it home.
As Air Traffic Controllers, we are trained to remain calm, focused, and professional during emergencies. But beneath our headsets and behind our radar screens, we are human too. And sometimes, a voice over the frequency touches our hearts in ways that words cannot describe.
Today, my heart is heavy.
My deepest condolences to the families, loved ones, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
May all those who lost their lives rest in eternal peace. 🕊️

For the “know it alls”, both wings were still attached, horizontal stabilizer/elevator was not. It either departed the aircraft from speeds/loads beyond the structural limit (which we know from the voice recording and most likely IMO), but can also hypothesize that weather was a huge contributing factor. Flight Data Recorder, if recoverable, will aid in the investigation. Preliminary NTSB usually takes a month, but full report after investigation usually takes a year or more. Ignore all those saying that they know (because they don’t without all of the data/facts). Let the professional investigators do their job and answers will come in time, with facts. Now is time for MANY prayers for the families. Just please, enough with the conspiracy BS and the assholes begging for your attention. Be human.
