As someone who REALLY likes Gears, read the books, the comics, played *every* game repeatedly: Gears E-Day kicks ass. I'm on the middle of Act 4 of 5, and I'm loving it. After eh-4, and okay-5, E-Day feels like the game found life again. First AAA game I've liked in a decade.
