This is a subjective situation however my experience for myself and many other people I met that attainted this level of wealth all shared one thing in common: The government was not allowed near us when we were young - we were homeschooled. Most of our employees were not.
“I became a millionaire because I was homeschooled.” Meet Maria Wendt, a successful entrepreneur who credits homeschooling for helping her build wealth. Imagine if every child learned entrepreneurship, investing, and financial independence at a young age! That’s why we’ve partnered with Brett Pike at @ClassicLearner to teach kids the wealth-building strategies used by wealthy families. The next generation deserves this opportunity! #Homeschooling #FinancialEducation

Prep for something much bigger. Get ready.
they’re calling it “Black October” and i don’t think people realize how serious this is in the last 48 hours there have been over 27 major cybersecurity incidents. not in a month. not in a week. in 48 hours any ONE of these would normally be the biggest story of the year PHP: critical vulnerability in the software running 80% of the web. severity 9.2 out of 10 Node.js: high-severity flaw letting attackers take over servers remotely. affects versions 22, 24, and 26 Java: also compromised. three of the most used programming languages on earth hit at the same time GitLab: a perfect 10 out of 10 severity hole in every version since 2014 Railway: hosting platform compromised. API keys for OpenAI, Claude, Stripe potentially exposed Signal: a bug that could leave your mic and camera on after you hang up WordPress: hackers stole a plugin maker’s keys and planted backdoors on websites LiteLLM: an AI tool downloaded 3.4 million times a day was poisoned with a password stealer and that’s not even half the list thousands of AI agent swarms are reportedly scanning and attacking vulnerable servers right now. automated. around the clock security researchers are saying this might be the early stages of a global cyber incident that nobody fully understands yet if you run a website, use cloud services, store API keys on hosting platforms, or use any software built on PHP, Node.js, or Java you are potentially affected update everything. rotate your API keys. change your passwords on critical services. enable 2FA everywhere you haven’t already this is not a normal week on the internet. this is something different

🇯🇵 How do we co-exist people who want to destroy us? We can't. This is why we Japanese must reject Islam. If we don't, we'll end up like France and then like Afghanistan. We can't let it happen.

“Larry Bird remembers when players that later went bankrupt made fun of him for saving his money:” Even when I was at the top of my game, we didn't drive a Mercedes-Benz or live in million-dollar homes, things like that. When I first started playing, we bought a nice little house in the French Lick/West Baden area. It cost $125,000. We didn't run out and spend all our money because we knew there would be a time when it was over, and I wanted to have options on what we could do with our future. I never thought about retiring. I just assumed I would always work." "Some of the guys who made far less than me bought the $700,000 homes, and the ROLEXwatches, and the big luxury cars. I used to tell them, "You're crazy, you should be saving your money." They'd just laugh and make jokes about me stashing my money away. But I could see what they were doing. They were throwing away their future. So many of them were living for today and not even stopping for a minute to think about ten years down the road when their playing careers were over and the money stopped pouring in. And by the time they realized what I was telling them was true, it was too late.I can't tell you how many ex-teammates have asked me for money. It's heartbreaking for me to say no, but I do because I warned them. I told them to save." Source: NBA Draft Central

As a Jew I always loved Jewish jokes. The more offensive the better. It’s fun for a Jew to look at themselves in a mirror and check for the flows that may become a joke. A Holocaust survivor told me once that despite the most unimaginable level of suffering in Treblinka there was always someone to come up with a joke about the absurdity of life or how God was laughing at them. Tragic? Yes. But for us it’s called resilience. Our Muslim friends don’t have the same level of self-questioning. So, here is for them, 2 minutes of good humor they really deserve.

Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40! People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement). The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4137…

Seinfeld's reruns have made Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David hundreds of millions of dollars. Jason Alexander, who played George, says he has made less than $200,000 from them. That gap is part of why the show ended. In the video below, Alexander explains why George, Elaine and Kramer stopped wanting more seasons. In 1997, Seinfeld was the biggest comedy on TV. NBC offered Jerry $5 million an episode, about $110 million, for a tenth season. He said no. Every year before the Christmas break, Jerry asked his three co-stars if they wanted to keep going. In season 9, they all said it was done. Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards were not partners in syndication. The reruns would pay Jerry and Larry for life. Not them. "Seinfeld wasn't going to be the annuity for us that it was going to be for Jerry and Larry," Alexander says. Every new season tied them tighter to one character. "We were going to contribute to our own eventual demise as actors." The case for Jerry: he and Larry created the show and owned it. The cast signed their deals and were paid well, reportedly $600,000 an episode by the end. Before the final taping, the four of them held hands backstage like every week. They called it the circle of power. Jerry said: "For the rest of our lives, when anyone thinks of one of us, they will think of all four of us." Alexander says they walked out looking like they'd been hit by a truck. So should Jerry have shared the reruns with George, Elaine and Kramer?

Sitting in a coffee shop across from a corporate tech park, accidentally eavesdropping on the table next to me. Middle-aged guy with a company lanyard sitting across from a twenty-something manager who had a laptop open. Manager: “Due to organizational alignment and role redundancy, today will be your final day. We’ve automated the system handoff for 1:00 PM.” The older guy didn't blink: “Dave, I sat next to you for five years. I trained you on this codebase when you were an intern. You don’t have to read the script.” The manager froze, looked at the script on his screen, and didn't say a single word. Just stared at his keyboard while the HR rep on the speakerphone piped up: “Please do not interrupt the separation protocol.” The guy took off his lanyard, laid it on top of the manager’s keyboard, and said: “Never make a company your whole identity, Dave. They will have a stranger read you a script the second a spreadsheet tells them to.” He walked out. The manager just sat there staring at the lanyard for ten minutes. Loyalty to a corporation is an illusion. Build your own life.
