"Of Dice and Minions" actually managed to get me to play with dice!! 😱
I tried the demo of the game developed by @Foorbytes and honestly, I didn’t expect to play it for so long, given that I’m not really a fan of dice games.
But this game is a different story... It features adorable pixel art paired with engaging music, and when combined with mechanics that are easy to learn, it creates a mix that truly draws you in and keeps things fun.
I was so absorbed that I didn’t even notice time passing—I only stopped when my wife called me for the second time (she was waiting for us to have dinner together).
I’m sharing a video of my gameplay in case you’d like to take a look—apologies if it’s not presented as professionally as it could be, but I’m not a YouTuber.
"Of Dice and Minions" is a game I can easily recommend to everyone—truly to any gamer looking for fun and engagement, without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
The developer—a solo creator—has done a fantastic job, and the game clearly reflects all the passion poured into its development. Well done! 👏

I really enjoyed playing the Of Dice and Minions demo! The game design is excellent.
I’m the solo developer of Hexborne, a fantasy puzzle roguelite with furry characters. You draw paths across a hex grid to chain attacks, gather resources, and survive turn-based battles.
