This is an excellent resource for those with memory impairment. @PeterBe1130 has given it his thumbs up too. And, of course, has been featured in one of the earlier issues so what further endorsement is needed!

Moving on is difficult when the advert is still on tv I now have to leave the room or mentally try to shut it out This advert , brings my mood down & makes me angry! All the positives people tirelessly campaigned for are just turned into negatives Positivity is the way forward!

The Alzheimer’s Society are about to make a terrible mistake with a grim and negative advertising campaign, saying people literally stop living with various losses with dementia. Not only is this a 180 degree reversal of their previous message, it isn’t true. Don’t do it. Please.

Totally get how some carers feel parts of their loved one has died a little as their dementia progresses, it seems you co produced the vid with a group of such carers. In the spirit of #nothingaboutuswithoutus how many people with dementia were involved? Here many hate the vid

Watching horrified, this latest campaign video from @alzheimerssoc & reflecting on a client who only recently spoke to me terrified, feeling that a diagnosis meant their life was no longer worth living. It is possible to live a life full of love and meaning after diagnosis…
We'll be there for you. Again, and again, and again 💙

The Long Goodbye: Our new advertising campaign | Alzheimer's Society This is offensive and appallingly bad taste. What is alzheimers.org doing? we’ve been fighting this message for years. Just getting somewhere, and… BANG! This bombshell. 1/2 alzheimers.org.uk/about-us/d…

@KateLeeCEO What on earth are you doing, putting out a film that says we die every time we take a step further with dementia? This is what we all fight AGAINST. We are still living. We are still US. We still have good lives. Take it down.

Portraying people with dementia in the media with dignity and respect is crucial for fostering understanding, reducing stigma, and promoting empathy towards individuals living with the condition.
