This isn't a nature reserve (although that might be debatable now!) This is actually our garden and this morning I counted 4 gatekeeper butterflies fluttering between the oregano and marjoram. As well as large whites, brimstone & red admiral butterflies @savebutterflies

Every year we leave the garden to go wild. This year there are so many bees, flies & butterflies enjoying the plants. The noise is just amazing, so much buzzing. Despite the hot and prolonged dry weather, the plants are doing really well, especially after some much needed rain

Happy FrogFriday I accidently disturbed this beauty the other day whilst filling the bird baths. I didn't know it was there until it hopped onto the pebbles at the edge of the pond where it sat for a little while before hopping off into the wild area next to the pond.
