The NY Times is citing not just this campaign worker but others associated previously with the campaign. This could snowball quickly as staffers seek safe harbor given the federal filing. Mary Peltola's campaign motto could quickly become "fish, family, freedom [and Fraud]."

Mr. baseball, Bob Uecker is a national treasure!
"Uecky I love you man, and we did it." 🥹 Christian Yelich and the Brewers did it for Bob Uecker 🫶

I’ve said Republican candidates are stupid for not pointing this out last spring. Dems have been trying to kill domestic oil & gas production for the last 15 years under the guise of “climate science.”
John Sununu calls out Chris Pappas and Democrats for their campaigning on gas prices while their party has waged war on energy for years: “The fact of the matter is you voted for $100 billion in tax increases on energy. If you want real affordability, we need permitting reform, which you opposed.” “If you want affordable energy, you need domestic production, which you and Joe Biden fought time after time after time.” He’s exactly right.

My answer was very clear from the beginning, TheNew York Times is a credible source when it is convenient for them! I’m not doubting their reporting, I doubt they’re framing and how they bury the lede when it serves their subscribers. Let’s remember how bonkers subscribers went when Tom Cotton wrote an oped.

Why the mudslinging? I didn’t cast aspersions at you. All I asked is if you view the NYTs as a reliable, credible source. You never actually answered, but suggested I was ‘deranged’. Is that your MO? Is that how u deal with people who give a bit of push back? Pretty weak. Sad

No, the campaign advisor that Peltola fired chose the New York Times. I can’t help who the proverbial “canary” picks as an outlet. From a distance, based on our back-and-forth, it appears that you maybe suffering from Murdoch derangement syndrome in the way that many people suffer from TDS.

You did ‘selectively’ pick NYT in ur post. So what you’re saying is the NYT is a credible news source that should be relied on. If it’s ‘bad’ enough we can’t count on FOX, WSJ but the Times will step up.

You can’t make this up. Mary Peltola, back in August: “It should be a criminal offense to lie or mislead the electorate. YES!” By her own standard, she just indicted herself!

I love how every Dem candidate decided their passion was cheap gas these last few months after trying to stop us oil production for years.

Let’s try this one more time, I’m not selectively picking the New York Times. They usually report a kernel of truth burying it 27 paragraphs down. This time they made it front-page news and it’s not because it’s journalism. It’s because it’s that bad. I know their MO and you need to be honest about their pattern of reporting. In this case - Devastating facts.
I could care less about Halperin’s thoughts. I’m suggesting that no matter how long I’ve been outta the game (nice ageist talk) ur selectively embracing the NYT when they provide useful fodder. You have tons of posts questioning their reporting and credibility on tons of issues

Did you notice? Democrats were willing to comb through voter records to find as many people as they could to run for Senate also named Dan Sullivan, in an attempt to confuse voters, but they won’t use those same records to see if illegal aliens are voting in American elections.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! The NYT just admitted that President Trump was right, Democrat Mary Peltola and Chuck Schumer's group spent months gaming Alaska's Ranked Choice Voting ballot to plant people like the FAKE "DAN SULLIVAN" on the ballot and help Peltola in the Senate race THEY COMBED THE VOTER ROLLS to find a "Dan Sullivan" 😡 AND SO THERE IT IS. According to internal texts, documents, and Peltola's own former campaign manager Elisa Rios: - Peltola aides ordered a staffer in summer 2025 to comb Alaska voter rolls for "as many people named Dan Sullivan" as possible - Operatives ran a secret "ballot composition project" with Peltola campaign lawyers and senior DSCC aides in Washington - A Midwest operative using a fake name traveled to remote Alaskan towns to recruit retired teacher Dan J. Sullivan and contractor Gerald Heikes as spoilers - Former campaign manager Elisa Rios confirmed on the record that Peltola was "definitely aware" of the scheme Trump's DOJ is 100% vindicated for suing to stop this! Democrats got caught red-handed rigging Alaska's ballot because they know Mary Peltola can't beat Sen. Dan Sullivan (R) fair and square! Alaskans must see through this, vote red, and PEOPLE HAVE TO BE PROSECUTED. End ranked choice voting, kick the fraud off the ballot, and secure this election.

Really you should ask @MarkHalperin - he agrees. I think you might’ve been out of the game for a while

Huh? That makes no sense. So your argument is the NYT is always credible but they chose to bury certain stories? Your argument that they want to be on the ‘right side of history’ when Sullivan wins begs credulity.

Because NYT normally would’ve buried this story until after election day unless they thought the real “Dan Sullivan” was going to win and then they wanted to be on the right side of history!
Replying to @FordOConnell
As you’ve noted numerous times the NYT is a slanted, non-credible source not to be trusted. What’s changed?

According to the @nytimes: Mary Peltola's people spent months hunting for a second Dan Sullivan to put on Alaska's ballot and trick voters. The so-called party of democracy, everyone.
