Rapists and criminals set free by Labour. This case is particularly sickening, and I don’t count his short time in jail as justice for his crime and for his many victims!
This is Naveed Aktar who has just been granted Cat D prison and day release to help him settle back into the community.
He is the brother of the man who owned the "party house" that was used to abuse me in for years and for men from across the Country to come and abuse me and others. He was convicted of 2 counts of rape and given 17 years in 2019.
He was also caught smuggling drugs into prison through the crown court toilets during the trial and given extra time.
He has served just a fraction of these sentences and is soon going to back back in society.

17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union. That democratic decision should mean something.
Now Andy Burnham appears to be entertaining arrangements that could bring us back under EU rules through the back door, without giving the electorate a proper say.
This is exactly the sort of political manoeuvring that destroys public trust. You cannot claim to respect democracy while looking for ways to sidestep the biggest democratic mandate in a generation.
The British people voted to take back control. That decision must be respected, not quietly undermined.

EU Commission is coming after your savings.
“Idle” money? Tell that to someone who spent forty years building a retirement fund.
Tell it to families keeping an emergency reserve because they cannot afford another crisis.
Brussels sees investment potential. Savers see security they worked and sacrificed to build.
The Commission wants more household savings flowing into European investment. Then answer this plainly:
Could any proposed products finance weapons, defence companies or support for Zelensky’s government in the war with Russia? What safeguards would let savers refuse those investments?
The speech does not establish a plan to seize deposits or transfer them to Ukraine. It does justify demanding precise answers about consent, destinations and risk.
No blank cheques. No concealed exposure. No pressure to sacrifice personal security for political priorities.
If Brussels wants people’s trust, publish the details.
Their savings are theirs. That principle is non-negotiable.
