Less time facing creative block
More time crafting each creative block 😅
Break down your process to:
— Manage steps individually (+ avoid overwhelm)
— Find confidence to experiment (then refine)
— Set time-frames (+ beat procrastination)
— Spot problem areas (to focus on later)

Hi Derek, here’s an example we illustrated & animated, but we can be flexible on styles.
How to deal with creative block:
Old way:
• Work longer
• Grind out ideas
• Panic as time runs out
• Dig deep feeling exhausted & spent
🧵
Creative minds overthink everything.
We tell ourselves it has to be perfect, so we never start.
And that sucks.
If you want to make drawing a habit, try this:
Treat drawing like a health habit…
– Keep it simple (sketchbook and pencil is all you need)
– Motivate yourself (set playful challenges)
– Build a system to keep you sustained (capture ideas)
– Show up everyday (keep tools handy)
