A culture voucher is fine. But for young people, the real issue is affordability. Housing, work & income are priorities. Young people aren't leaving Ireland because of a lack of culture access, they're leaving because they can't afford to live here. Maybe address that #Budget2027

How many times has Ian spent the entire day with a single name in his mouth only to completely change his mind at the table? #TraitorsIRL

Have to acknowledge that though @GoAheadIreland is responsible for this debacle, they did not try to pretend that the 07:45 operated and just said this

An eye opening hour dealing with a public body that is just gaslighting its customers. The tracking shows the service operated is quite the response to someone STANDING AT THE STOP it categorically did not operate from

The @BBCWorldatOne in a context piece on Trump’s visit and previous presidents’ visits, mentions the emigration of 500,000 people from Ireland in ‘the 1850s’ without saying why they left 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely extraordinary interview on @BBCr4today of Kami Badenoch by Emma Barnett. The former not enjoying being closely questioned by the latter.

Normally a company that said that its product had a 10% plus chance of exterminating humanity would be shut down immediately. Just saying.

For the last two years after the All-Ireland final, I’ve gone back and tagged every possession, every player involvement and kick pass, then written about it in @ExaminerSport. Amazingly, this column has now done the exact same thing after me two years in a row 😀

A playbook repeated from Turkey to Norway to Belarus. Rather than recognising it Europe’s right took an opportunity to pile on to a centre-left leader they resent: domestic troubles aside, Sanchez has outperformed them on economic growth while seeing a green energy switch pay off
The New York Times has spoken with several Moroccan nationals who say they were encouraged to cross into Ceuta by the Moroccan authorities.

I’m trying to find any good reason why Irish entrepreneur Patrick Collison would donate US $7 Million to oppose a once off billionaires tax which would go to fund healthcare programmes in California. unbelievable greed. irishtimes.com/politics/2026…
