Pakistan’s Digital Authority met with DFINITY executives in Dubai to explore an AI factory for public-sector software and further development of the PDA Cloud Engine, building on earlier collaboration around Internet Computer infrastructure.

Dominic goes on to touch on the subject of AI.
Making the point that AI-powered hackers are making traditional compute infrastructure increasingly insecure, and that tamperproof software helps fix that.
He added that it matters when AI builds and updates services, which it can do at the speed of conversation.
On stacks that are not tamperproof, he said, security and sysadmin teams have to stay in the loop, and that slows production down a lot.

In the report, Dominic and his team describe cloud engines as an open evolution of cloud for an era in which enterprises want sovereignty and platforms that play better with AI.
Dominic lays out his vision plainly for cloud engines, explaining how an enterprise can choose the compute nodes behind its own cloud, from independent data center hardware, virtual nodes on hyperscaler clouds, and on-prem machines.
