Even the New York Times is writing about how Atlanta descended into chaos under Keisha Lane Bottoms and then she just walked away. That's not the kind of leadership Georgia needs for the next four years! P.S. Don't forget that today is the last day to vote early!

I was honored to join Safe Haven for a luncheon today in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I had the opportunity to share a few words about the incredible work they do in our community to support victims and families. Domestic violence is an issue that deserves attention year-round, and I encourage everyone to learn more about this organization’s mission and how they can help raise awareness!

Democrats vote early, and we need to catch up! Please vote if you haven’t already, and tell 10 of your friends to do the same! If we don’t, we’re going to wake up next Wednesday in a very different Georgia… @RickJacksonGA

While National Sugarcane Syrup Day may not be until next month (it’s always the 4th Friday in November!), it’s ALWAYS a good idea to attend a cane grind and boil - especially when it’s at the Johnson-Welter Heritage Farm! Lorie, Woodley and I had a blast attending this event on Saturday. It’s always special to see traditions like this being passed down from one generation to the next. Thanks to the Welters for their incredible hospitality!

Georgia - it’s time to choose.  Do we want a governor who delivers real results? Or one who delivers nothing but bad excuses for her poor record?  I know which choice I’m making

The governor’s race is in a DEAD HEAT. Folks, if you were thinking of sitting this election out - please don’t. GO VOTE. Keisha Lance Bottoms was a disaster as mayor, and she’d be a disaster as governor. House Republicans have made tremendous progress at the state level to support families, invest in education, and put more money back in your wallet. I’d hate to see the momentum wiped away in one election.

Had a fantastic evening with the Emanuel County GOP! So grateful to everyone who came out. Everyone I spoke to was fired up and ready to vote GOP up and down the ticket - if they haven’t already! Don’t forget early voting is already underway! Don’t wait until Election Day - this one is too important to sit on the sidelines!

This year, Georgia Republicans passed - and Gov. Kemp signed into law - HB 1344. The bill was titled the Georgia Insurance Affordability and Claims Integrity Act, but really that’s just a fancy way of saying we’re going to lower costs, protect consumers, and crack down on abuses in the industry that drive premiums higher.  I was proud to support HB 1344, and make sure we continue to hold insurance companies accountable so families aren’t left footing higher bills!

Proud to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Georgia Training Center for Industrial Operations today at @OgeecheeTech! As our region continues to grow, it’s more important than ever that we’re preparing Georgians for the skills they need to succeed in our changing economy. This center, which represents a $27 million investment in the local workforce, does just that! Congratulations to everyone who helped make this a reality. Excited to see the opportunities it will create for our state!

One of my favorites things about serving in the State House is getting to encourage the next generation to become interested in public service. Today was no exception! Earlier today I was able to visit Bryan County Middle School - along with @RepBuddyCarter, City Administrator Chris Benson, Brett Kohler from Planning and Zoning, as well as members from the school board - for a special Q&A with 8th graders about government and public service. I always enjoy opportunities like this - and these kids asked some great questions! Appreciate Bryan County Middle for putting this together!

When you’ve built a successful business from nothing, you know how to cut through the noise, deliver results, and solve problems. That’s what Georgia needs - not more progressive, failed politicians with terrible track records. I’m saying NO to Keisha Lance Bottoms in November - and you should too!

As Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms was a disaster for the city of Atlanta. And then when the going got tough, she walked away. That’s not leadership.

Had a blast being able to join my friends Sen. Billy Hickman and University President Kyle Marrero on the field for the coin toss at last night’s Georgia Southern game! While the final score wasn’t what we wanted, I’m proud of our Eagles - they left it all on the field! You can’t ask for much more than that.

Had a great time visiting Langston Chapel Elementary to read to students and celebrate Georgia Pre-K Week! I always enjoy being able to see firsthand the great things that are happening in Georgia classrooms. Huge thank you to the teachers and staff for the warm welcome and for everything they do to give our young learners a strong start!
