While itโs not biggest piece of beach glass plucked from a Canadian waterway (I Googled it); itโs definitely, not the smallest๐

Ever heard of the โMonkeesโ?
This is a plastic ring from the 1960โs. I did a quick Google search and this mayโve come from a cereal box.

And on some days the tide is in and the Fraser River Junkyard is submerged. Still, plenty of exploring to be had, tho.
Anyone recognize this vintage Lowneyโs bag? I wonder what type of old-timey confectionery, was once insideโฆ
Pre-1970โs considering where it was found.

โWelcome Canadian Ruggersโ on the front and โThe Osaka Manciniโ on the back.
This lapel/badge was made to commemorate a rugby match. Then pin (if it had one) is long gone. Not sure if itโs lead or pewter.

Itโs a very vintage Woodwardโs one with basketball signals on it!

The Fraser River Junkyard is literally an old city dump closed 60+ yrs ago. It wasnโt sealed properly. At high tide the river pulls the dirt away leaving โtreasuresโ like these old bottles.
This is what can be found at low tide.
I have 1 of each at home so leave them behind๐๐
And sometimes, I canโt get away from a โfindโ fast enoughโฆ
Donโt worry, it only contains 50% DDT๐๐
Can the Fraser River Junkyard be beach combed/explored when the tide comes inโฆ yeah, kinda๐๐
This image is really unfortunate. This was one of my 1st real finds but I didnโt see the โvalueโ in keeping such a thing, at the time.
I skipped it over the water like a flat rock after I took this picture, never to be seen again.
