- Firing Range in the social space like in DMZ
- Make the social space like the Tower where runners who are not in your crew can be in the same instance
- Make it possible to equip ANY piece of gear in the social space (cores, implants, weapons, etc) to test builds and to find cool gear interactions
^^This one could be left out if it’s important to keep the newer gear a mystery.
- Make it possible to enable Friendly Fire to blast your friendly runners like in Apex Legends lol

Low key ditch the start menu and just start runs from the social space. Have an area for each section from the start menu
Similar to DMZ.
This corner has the armory.
Another corner has your vault.
Another area has all the factions (maybe even show the leaders of each faction in the social space somewhere) that you can interact with. Probably incorporate this into where the armory would be.
This is indeed a controversial topic due to the stolen art during development. This is still, allegedly, the fault of someone on the art team at Bungie who blatantly 1-to-1 ripped an artist’s decals and plastered them across the entire alpha build.
Bungie admitted fault and compensated the artist, as they should have done.
I still believe this was the beginning of the smear campaign for the game. The alpha had it’s obvious issues (stolen art aside). Although it was that vicious feedback that caused the change that the game ultimately needed to look the way it does now…
(the visuals in the alpha were not great compared to what we have now AT ALL)
…we could have gotten that feedback without smearing the game.
IMO, Marathon should be nominated for…

Best Audio Design
Best Score and Music
Best Ongoing Game (could be next year if the game doesn’t die)
The game is THAT good! It has come a very long way since the alpha. But VERY few gamers will actually give it a chance cause of either propaganda on the TL, them simply not liking the genre, or still stressing about things that happened in the past.

an entire generation of gamers will not play a game if you cannot slide cancel, YY, dolphin dive while shooting, backflip 360 nose dive, 1040 gainer fakey flip jump cartwheel belly flop before you get into an engagement...

I’m sorry but… this is a good change.
The top 1% are going to get good gear regardless of the limitations. Better to stop the rich from getting flitchy rich and just completely avoiding what it’s like to truly have low gear value.
Fix the exploit where you can have days, sometimes weeks worth of gear in the mail next… 💯
