“Live Free or Die” — Start your Journey with the Free State Project The fight for liberty began right here in New Hampshire and it’s alive and thriving today. We are Free Staters — thousands of liberty lovers who’ve made the move to the Granite State to live free and build a society rooted in voluntary cooperation, innovation, and self-reliance. From politics to entrepreneurship, from homeschooling to homesteading, we’re creating real freedom in our lifetime. The torch of liberty still burns here — and we’re keeping it lit for those ready to take a stand. If you believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, it’s time to come home. Join us in the Free State and help build the future of freedom. Your journey begins at FSP.org

Blocked, so I can’t reply to Matt directly, but the problem here is twofold. First, they use recent state housing legislation to measure freedom. But states with the biggest problems have done the most to pass laws. Second, they use minimum lot sizes without adjusting for existing density - of course minimum lot sizes are smaller where pre-zoning density is higher. On this, they don’t say what they do for states where the National Zoning Atlas does not have data. 🤷‍♂️

Due to overwhelming suspicion, we’re releasing the next five points of the Free State Agenda. Yes, the conspiracy goes all the way to the library book sale. Our neighbors have been warned. Their sidewalks may be shoveled without further notice.

Taxes don’t have to last forever. On Jan. 1, 2025, New Hampshire eliminated its last state tax on personal income by repealing the Interest & Dividends Tax. Keep more. Build more. Live free. fsp.org/history/liberty-wins…

This childrens activity understands the concentration strategy of @FreeStateNH Find a small but defensible position, get your warriors there, defend it.
Daily printable #2 for October 22 Bigger is not always better: when we concentrate our efforts we can achieve great things. Mauduit du Plessis understood this 249 years ago when he reduces the size of Fort Mercer so a smaller force could effectively defend against advancing Hessians.
