It all just went to the state department and Rubio got to say what was cut. And we lost no soft power, and hundreds of thousands of kids didn't starve because of it. If so, that would just demonstrate what an absolute & total failure the UN and our near-peers are around the world.
He destroyed American soft power, disbanded human intelligence, and caused hundreds of thousands of children to die from starvation and disease.

'Reports' are causing fear. Sounds legit..... Politicians. Geesh.
Reports of increased ICE activity near Ontario schools are causing fear in our communities. Families are notifying the school district that they plan to pull their children out of class for the rest of the year because they are afraid. No parent should have to worry about their child’s safety when sending them to school. Every child deserves an education, and no family should have to choose between their child’s future and their family’s safety. ICE’s actions are creating fear that is keeping children out of the classroom. That is not public safety. Parents should not have to choose between protecting their families and making sure their children get an education. Our children deserve better, and I will keep demanding accountability for the harm these enforcement tactics are causing in our communities.

Russia doesn't have starlink. And this war is stupid at WW1 levels. So many Ukrainians and Russians (and those of other nations/tribes from around the world) are dead. There have been so many off ramps. I look back in my lifetime to see current events and often wondered... what will the unintended or even natural downstream effects of these deals and policies be. It just always leads to war... death.... and someone with their eye on the spoils, regardless of the cost. Russia doesn't even starlink, and Europe has given more to Russia since the war started than they have to Ukraine.
Talked to @elonmusk. I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds. Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities. Discussed possible space projects 🚀. But I’ll talk about this after the war.

The EU is the problem. It is a banker's union masquerading as a democratic institution.

One of the arguments slaveowners used.
Good news, red staters. Lots of jobs now open to pick fruit and vegetables in the broiling sun on minimum wage

Congressional hush money slush fund paid for by taxpayers? That level of accountability?
I am in the accountability wing of the Democratic party. For the Epstein class. For rogue ICE agents. For pay to play corporations. For those who DOGEd our nation. For public officials & family members who enriched themselves. For DOD leaders ordering strikes on fishermen in Caribbean & a school in Iran. I am done with elite impunity. We need investigations & prosecutions. That is why I am introducing the first ever Truth and Accountability Commission. thehill.com/homenews/house/6…

A reminder that Barack Obama said that the least corrupt time in American history is during Donald Trump's presidency. Vote red.
JUST IN: Barack Obama says the U.S. government is “much less corrupt” than at any point in American history.

I prefer Vivek's policy proposals. Also, I saw what happened in Virginia. You didn't denounce Jay Jones, 1,000,000x worse.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a disgusting and slimy political hack. Every single Republican should denounce this malignant clown and rescind their support. Vote Amy Acton for Governor!

Democracy? I didn't get a chance to vote for anybody on the board of the federal reserve, and no one has the power to remove them (allegedly).
Musk's super PACs have now spent over $400 million to buy the midterm elections. This campaign is not just about Democrats vs. Republicans. It’s about whether the world’s first trillionaire can buy our government. Say NO to Musk. Say NO to oligarchy. Say yes to democracy.

"If you want to help kids, give money to politicians., not kids." Said the politician.
If Musk really wants to help kids out, he should PAY HIS TAXES!

You mean giving ukraine access and taking it away from Russia, right?
Are you responsible for what happened to Starlink in Ukraine?

Taxing wealth doesn't do anything for wealth inequality. It just redistributes money to political Productive stagflation and/or productive deflation DOES lift people out of poverty. Eliminating federal reserve, eliminating income tax, passing clarity act, and using sound 'money' that can't be 'monetized' (ie no more fiat) will lift people out of poverty.
Great. Let's pass my wealth tax.

Nothing says 'protecting democracy' like publicly fantasizing about jailing or killing people with different political views.

Eric Swalwell is singing like a canary right now. He didn't think his 'friends' would do him like that.

Wow.... Amy Acton's mother coming out and calling her a liar and not to vote for her.... Didn't see that coming.

Matt. You confuse your expected end state with his desired end state. This is the art of the deal mentality. Trump's point isn't livestreaming the execution. The point was making sure the f n vexecution was talked about. To make sure the citizenry knew about it. To put it in several news cycles instead of one as a secondary.
This kind of sloppiness is inexcusable. Why would you publicly announce something as dramatic as a live-streamed execution if you weren’t absolutely sure you wanted to do it and hadn’t already thought through all of the very predicable and inevitable blowback you would get? This makes it seem like they just kind of off the cuff floated the idea of killing someone on a live stream and then changed their mind when people were upset about it. Totally ridiculous, no matter how you feel about the public execution idea. No excuse to handle it this way. You need to go into something like this very thoughtfully, with seriousness of purpose and a sense of the gravity of the situation. Instead we get a casual announcement of a public execution and then a casual retraction on social media a few days later. Absurd.

Dear Secretary Bessent @SecScottBessent, My name is Everett Stern. In 2010 I was a compliance officer at @HSBC. From a back office in New Castle, Delaware, I watched billions of dollars move to drug cartels, sanctioned regimes, and terrorist organizations. The enemies of the United States. I documented it, I escalated it, and when the bank would not act, I took it to the @FBI, the @CIA, and eventually the @SECGov. The result was a $1.92 billion settlement. At the time, it was one of the largest in American history. It was also about five weeks of the bank’s profit. Not one banker was charged. Not one went to prison. I paid a different price. I lost my career, my savings, and my place in the industry I had trained for. I was blacklisted. Every door in American finance closed at once. I slept on a camping cot in a 300 square foot apartment because I could not afford a bed, and I waited tables at @PFChangs to eat. I tell you this not for sympathy, but so you understand that I know exactly what it costs to do the right thing in American finance, and exactly how little the system does in return. I made that sacrifice because I believed it would change something. Yesterday, your department fined @BankofAmerica $1.2 billion for failing to report more than $5 billion in suspicious transactions, some of it tied by your own findings to Chinese laundering networks, narcotics, and the southwest border, alongside 475 apparent sanctions violations touching Russia, Iran, and global terrorism. The bank admitted it willfully violated the Bank Secrecy Act. Fourteen years after HSBC. A bank with “America” in its name. And once again, not one individual charged. Secretary Bessent, I want to say plainly what I believe you already know. The fines are not working. A fine is paid by shareholders, absorbed by the balance sheet, and forgotten by the next earnings call. Bank of America reported earnings this morning. Nobody who set the alert thresholds, nobody who decided the 2024 cease and desist could wait, nobody who chose the backlog over the law will lose a single thing they value. Their lives are untouched. That is the entire reason the behavior repeats. This is money laundering. This is blood money. Money that reaches a cartel buys fentanyl that kills Americans. Money that reaches a terrorist organization buys the next attack. This country has fought a war on drugs and a war on terror for decades, at enormous cost in lives and treasure, and all the while we have allowed the financing to flow through institutions we charter and regulate. Cut off the money and we win. We have never seriously tried. There is also a question of equal justice that I cannot let go. Before I walked into the FBI building to report HSBC, I stopped in front of the Great Seal on the wall and read the words engraved beneath it: “Justice is the defense of our liberty.” I believed that. I still want to. But every day in this country, people go to prison for crimes that are nothing next to moving money for the people who want Americans dead. A suit, a title, and a corporate badge should not be a shield from the consequences that apply to everyone else. If a street dealer goes to prison for what he sells, the banker who moved the cartel’s money should be standing next to him. I also want to raise something that is rarely said in these conversations. Why has no one inside Bank of America come forward the way I did? The answer is that everyone in American banking knows what happened to me, and to the whistleblowers who came after. The last person who spoke up is the only policy anyone believes. That is a culture problem, and it starts with leadership, in the banks and in the agencies that regulate them. This is not a political issue. It has spanned administrations of both parties. It is a national security issue, and I am asking you to treat it as one. Three things would change the math overnight. Refer individuals for criminal prosecution. Not the analyst in the queue. The executives who set the thresholds and chose the risk. One banker in handcuffs would do more than every fine in Treasury’s history combined. End “too big to jail.” An institution cannot be too big to fail and too big to jail at the same time. If it is the first, it must be held to a higher standard, not a lower one. And if Bank of America will not act as America’s bank, review its charter. A national charter is a privilege granted on behalf of the American people. It should be conditioned on not moving money for the people trying to kill them. Secretary Bessent, you said yesterday that these actions send a clear message that even the biggest institutions are not above the law. With respect, the institution was never the problem. The people inside it are above the law, and they know it. Until that changes, I will keep writing letters like this one, and the next bank will keep paying the next fine. I gave up everything I had to stop this. I am asking you to use the power you have to finish it. Respectfully, Everett A. Stern HSBC Whistleblower Founder and Intelligence Director, Tactical Rabbit
