Interesting data point in the growing rift between anarchist and so-called “anti-imperialist” leftist groups. The letter calls for a break between libertarian socialists and anarchists and “authoritarian” socialists (usually Marxist-Leninist), over the issue of “campism.”

My take on the religion discourse is:
False beliefs are bad. They enable cognitive distortions which are valuable to exploiters because they can then be leveraged to get you to act in ways that are contrary to both self interest and collective interest.
