What is a good design?
One of the most basic questions you can ask, and still the answer can be incredibly complex.
But however you answer it, you should always say this:
A good design has to tell a story, it needs to transmit emotions…
It has to be alive.
Experience after one week 9 to 5:
I need to get out of here.
Honestly having felt the freedom of freelancing I don't see how people can live a 9 to 5 their whole lives.
I just need my Bachelor of Engineering and then I'm out doing my own thing again.
This porsche design is from sketchfab. Unfortunately I don't have the credit text anymore and can't find it either.
Whoever finds it please send me the credits :)
So yesterday my dual degree program started and it's pretty interesting.
In the end I'll have a Bachelor of Engineering btw so my future designs will be more and more technical over time.
BUT after all I'm/was a product designer so we'll see how the designs are gonna turn out
Hello twitter,
I am back from my summer break.
3 weeks no social media.
Just catching up from everything I missed.
I watched Spiderman BND with family and stayed at my parents place for some days.
Now I'm fresh and happy to announce some changes:
I'm no longer designing for money.
From this very moment on, every design is something I genuinely like and something I want to do (my list is looong). In the past months, most of my designs had the purpose of being seen by a client and convincing them to work with me.
Those days are over.
I am now designing for art, not money.
Obviously the question is, how do I finance myself?
Simple: I’m starting a dual degree program in mechanical engineering with a vocational training in mechatronics. (Had to translate this sentence, cuz I didn't know how to say it in English.) This is payed so I am free to design what I desire!
This one was actually mostly done by my "apprentice".
He's a very curious and creative guy.
I hope one day he's going to have the courage to do his own thing. Then he'll be great
Bright Colors are really awesome.
Concept Piece for Remix Perfume.
Do you think they're gonna like it?
In hindsight, this kind of looks like something @PeterTarka would do, although I'm sure his version would be a lot better than mine.
He's the color goat after all
Teaching blender right now.
Really interesting process.
On the left is his version, on the right is my little upgrade
Mission to get more people to use blender xD
