Going to give my full thoughts on Shadow Generations while replaying it. Going to be pretty harsh, mostly oriented on stage stuff, but I will go back to story after each level.

Sunset Heights Act 1 Very boring level, some cool Chaos Control gimmicks that lose it's flavour. The best Radical Highway segment but that isn't saying much. Most use out of the step ability though. 6/10

Sunset Heights Act 2 Best level in the game. Great platforming, great use of Chaos Control skips without making it too shallow, love the spring gimmick, love the Death Egg robot interaction a lot more here than Act 1. Just great. 9/10

Rail Canyon A2 - Way better. The not holding stick rail launch tech really makes this level flow, but it also has actual platforming and a little stakes. Not being able to stomp on certain earlier sections, having to use the jump button a fair bit to go over hurdles. 7/10

I think we need to start acknowledging how insecure Sonic CD fans are. I'm not even exaggerating: say something just slightly negative about the game and they get on your ass like you just killed someone's puppy.
