🚀 Sharing a glimpse into the technical marvels at @CroskullNFT Game Development! 🎮
🔍 Optimizing for Excellence: Crafting a high-tick-rate multiplayer game (60 updates per second) is no small feat. It's not just about the game; it's about scaling up performances both on server and client for a seamless experience.
🛠️ Recent Triumphs: Spent some quality time implementing a Compressor and a Delta system for managing states updates. The results? Nothing short of extraordinary!
📊 Payload Revolution: Check out the attached image for a jaw-dropping revelation. The decrease in payload size is impressive! The Compressor replaces keys with indexes, packing the JSON into a sleek string.
🔄 Delta Dynamics: But we didn't stop there! The Delta system takes it a step further. Not only does it compress the JSON, but it intelligently checks for differences in the previous state. If any, we cherry-pick and ship only the changes.
The reduction is truly unbelievable!
⚙️ Implementation Prowess: Yes, using a Compressor and Delta system demands more implementation finesse on both Server and Client ends, but the benefits far outweigh the efforts.
Stay tuned for more technical insights and groundbreaking advancements as we reshape the gaming landscape at @CroskullNFT! 🌐🚀
