A video circulating on X shows Polish MEP Grzegorz Braun, leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown, physically dismantling an LGBT-themed exhibition inside Poland’s parliament. The incident occurred on June 11, 2025, but has returned to public attention following a new criminal indictment announced on November 4, 2026. Braun is accused of destroying ten exhibition panels, allegedly causing 3,690 PLN in damage. The indictment also includes separate allegations involving Ukrainian and EU flags and remarks concerning the POLIN Museum and the Daffodils remembrance campaign. The case raises questions about freedom of political expression, religious convictions, respect for opposing viewpoints and the limits of protest inside democratic institutions.
