.@kevinlandrigan 1,600 words on what @NHDems might do w/ next budget, and not one on the fact that @KellyAyotte goes first? By statute, her budget lands in February. The Leg works off hers. So: what are her priorities, & how does she balance it? That’s 1st question. #NHpolitics

How does Kelly Ayotte propose a balanced budget at all? Her own YDC administrator wants $75M/yr. The $80M sale she counted on won’t close. Vouchers are $60M+ and climbing by statute. HB 155, her signature, hands any surplus to a BET cut. Where’s the math? #NHpolitics
Three ways to close it. She’s ruled out two: no new revenue, no cut to vouchers. The law rules out the third: the Rainy Day Fund needs a revenue shortfall she doesn’t have. That leaves agency cuts she won’t name. Her address is in February. The arithmetic is due now. #NHpolitics
By the second meeting in January, no one will remember where Councilor David Wheeler, Councilor John Stephen, Councilor Janet Stevens or Councilor Joe Kenney sat. It will be as if they never existed at all. Karma. #NHpolitics
The AP officially called District 1 for Democrat Luz Bay today at 12:01 p.m. nhpr.org/nh-news/2026-11-04/…

I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

Gov. Ayotte, 2027–28: every contract, every commissioner, every judge goes through a 5-0 Democratic Executive Council. She'll be asking permission for two years. #NHpolitics

Last night in NH wasn’t kind to @granitewinger either. Voters authoritatively flushed the Sununu campaign he spent the cycle shilling for. Don’t worry, I'm sure Carney still has @iammgraham’s bathroom stall wall to scribble on in retirement. #NHpolitics

Looks like Councilor @JohnStephenNH forgot to do his homework. I doubt there is one public servant in Concord that will miss that partisan blowhard. #NHpolitics

@AFP_NH endorsed Sununu, 4 state senators, 2 Executive Councilors & approx 69 state reps. Sununu lost. Both Councilors lost. 3 of 4 senators lost, 1 too close. Reps: 39 lost, 16 won, 14 pending. Historic ass whipping for @GregMooreNH and his bully posse. Adios kids. #NHpolitics

Democrats swept the NH House, Senate and all five Executive Council seats last night, and Cinde’s message, work ethic and tenacity had a lot to do with it. Down-ballot Democrats owe her and her team a huge debt of gratitude. I’m grateful she stepped up to run. #NHpolitics

Congratulations to my friend @cindewarmington on the race she ran. Outspent 5 to 1 and smeared from day one, she came within four points of beating a first-term NH governor, something done only once in the last 100 years. Sometimes the better candidate doesn’t win. #NHpolitics

David Wheeler is another @AFP_NH hack that won't be missed by any NH public servants. Hard to overstate what a positive change it will be for state government with GOP Councilors Wheeler, Stephen, Kenney and Stevens gone from Concord. #NHpolitics
