It discussed a fundraising dinner for KindHearts, a charity whose fundraiser had been indicted in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas case and which the Senate Finance Committee had already flagged in its terror-financing inquiry. El-Sayed’s own signed piece in the chapter newsletter called for metro Detroit’s Muslim community to become “the point of nucleation for global unification” in service of the worldwide Ummah. Emerson’s recovered newsletters and board minutes show El-Sayed running the campus organization the Brotherhood built to advance that project in America.
