Akshay, you know very well that Amit Shah is the one giving protection to these gangsters. He is directly responsible for threatening your livelihoods, your family’s safety and your fellow actors in the industry. The more you behave like slaves in front of him, the more he will treat you like trash. But the moment you unite as an industry and take a courageous stand, they will be taken aback. Luckily, you have earned enough money and fame for next 5 generations. This Gunda Raj of dictator will end soon, in a few more years. The only questions is, How will you look back upon this time? What will you tell your grandchildren? That you bowed down in the hope of an illusion of safety? Or you had the guts to show some courage? Take some inspiration from your fellow industry people like Imran Khan and Prakash Raj. I know the whole industry is under a lot of pressure but the sooner we have our country back, the sooner you and your fellow actors can have the good old freedom and peace again :)

I can tolerate right-wingers for a moment, but right-wingers posting ragebait captions with those Dhurandhar edits 😭😭😭🙏🏻 BRO, WHAT KIND OF DYSTOPIAN FAN FICTION ARE YOU LIVING IN? These people genuinely fantasise about the police treating Indian citizens like the British treated Indians at Jallianwala Bagh. The scariest part? Most of them are teenagers and barely in their 20s. Imagine being that young and already having authoritarianism as your political fantasy.

Hope this reaches Toxic makers & TRUE Yash fans. #TOXIC needs to FOCUS ON INDIAN AUDIENCES FIRST! Yash’s root following outside Karnataka is mainly in Odisha, Bihar, MP, Mumbai Circuit, Bengal, Gujarat etc (proved by KGF territory shares) 98 out of 100 ticket paying Indians do NOT know what is CinemaCon or San Diego Comic-con Toxic will earn the most in Karnataka, followed by above states. Toxic is not a ‘Ramayana’, it’s not a Marvel/DC or a Sci-Fi film like ‘Dune’, heck it’s not even a Bahubali level sequel or has a ‘Global filmmaker’ name associated. It’s a Gangster Drama. Numbers speak facts , check records of the biggest of Indian films, Toxic in the BEST CASE SCENARIO MAX TO MAX Overseas simply cannot cross 500Cr. India is your BIGGEST MARKET. ‘Globally Aligned Date’ ? You’re not releasing in Armenia, Barbados, Jamaica, Tonga or similar countries anyways then what is this reasoning? North America, UK, Oceania market is available already, so what do you mean Globally Aligned? Stop creating a bubble. Earlier they gave middle eastern market excuse, KGF2 with mammoth hype barely earned 70Cr there, Toxic isn’t crossing 75 there. #Yash fans should ask these questions directly, what is happening is not right. Postponements are fine once or twice, but repeated number of times signals ‘underconfidence’ to the neutral audiences. After all this drama, bookmark this tweet, and come back here once the film actually releases and the ‘global’ collection comes for which makers are so concerned.

Unpopular Opinion - Maddock Horror Comedy Universe still has great potential! Maddock seems more receptive of suggestions (Bhediya design change in Thamma showed same) and if they rework few of their film’s aspects they can still be great - End unnecessary ‘item’ songs, Thamma suffered badly from this - increase the horror quotient - Stree 1 still is the best for this very reason (Raj & Dk’s genius honesty) - DIVERSIFY characters AND stories! YRF’s Spy Universe suffers from this All your characters must not be the same small town funny guy, all stories should not be revolving around themes of hopeless romance, marriage, etc. - STOP trying to connect everything to Indian mythology, audiences would love a normal Werewolf, Vampire or Zombie, most people consume west media and we do not have to connect everything to some Indian history necessarily. I think they way the played the ‘universe’ game in Thamma was genuinely commendable from Indian standards, just hope the rectify their mistakes and come back strong with Shakti Shalini starring #AneetPadda & #VishalJethwa Also, PLEASE bring us a solid Bhediya film with #VarunDhawan What do you guys think of MHCU? And what do you guys think should be their future?

Loved #Ramayana trailer thoroughly, my only suggestion about a scope of improvement nobody is talking about - I hope that the screenplay is not linear, even if catering to the west is the biggest priority for makers, they can very well enjoy a new story from an unfamiliar world with smarter screenplay (Odyssey being the latest example)

Expecting *honest* tweets from top stars in this situation is impossible because they function at a different stratosphere of power dynamics where what they say really does affect their lives. Look at SRK’s Aryan Khan case, Look at Rajkummar Rao’s music video case, look at the reel Hrithik is liking. Obviously they understand humanity aspect of it, they have seen alot of the world, but are bounded by circumstances Rest if you want to be happy with a generic neutral message then go ahead ask them, what is the realistic point of it? Nothing.
🚨 #HrithikRoshan INDIRECTLY EXPLAINS WHY BOLLYWOOD STAYS SILENT ON TODAY’S ISSUES The clip also talks about #SRK, #AamirKhan, Kunal Kamra, Bollywood, the media, cricketers and big business. Respect Hrithik for speaking up. Here’s what the clip says: - According to the clip, many Bollywood stars don’t stay silent because they agree with everything the government does, they stay silent because they’re scared of what could happen if they speak out. - It uses Shah Rukh Khan as an example. The clip says SRK wasn’t openly political, but also wasn’t seen publicly backing the government like many others. Then came the Aryan Khan case. Although there’s no public proof the case was politically motivated, the clip says many people saw it as a warning. It argues SRK has since become far more careful in public. - The clip says this fear isn’t limited to Bollywood. It claims cricketers, business leaders, media personalities and other celebrities also avoid criticizing the government because they fear raids, investigations, losing work or becoming targets. - It mentions Kunal Kamra, saying critics believed action against his property was retaliation for his criticism, while authorities said it was due to unauthorized construction. - It also talks about Aamir Khan, saying that after he spoke about growing intolerance in India, he faced massive boycott campaigns and reportedly lost endorsement deals which basically sent a message to the rest of the industry. - Finally, it argues that many films today have become strongly nationalistic, with some portraying Muslims negatively, calling them part of a larger propaganda narrative.

THE MOST DESERVING SEQUEL OF BOLLYWOOD! Better than 99% of comedy films even in 2026. Go Goa Gone (2013) - dir. Raj & DK, an absolute cult classic, with a stellar starcast and such great writing, the film has aged so well with the comedy holding up even in today’s time. Sadly, the film’s sequel which was announced in 2020 has gone into IP & rights issues between Raj & DK and Dinesh Vijan. Amongst all the sequels releasing today, if this film got a sequel - it would’ve been a sureshot all time blockbuster.

‘You can never know the pressure’ - Rajkummar Rao on the viral ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’ song! Now this shows clearly he did not want to be part of the music video and was pressured into it.

As someone who loved #Dhurandhar, have expressed same in past tweets The film’s legacy is pretty much tarnished, from BJP & Modi themselves using this as a tool in their public rallies, to the entire discourse online, to *public* on news channels saying “Aap sawaal mat poochiye aapne Dhurandhar nahi dekhi?” when challenged about current govt’s establishments. Now I will not compare it to Swades or Rang De Basanti because they are different genres and an unfair comparison. Do you guys think Dhurandhar will be remembered with legacy like that of Gangs of Wasseypur, Satya, Maqbool, Baby, etc? Or just as another tool, a well made one, for manipulating population? I feel film might age like bad milk despite being an all time blockbuster, all of which could’ve been avoided had Aditya Dhar chosen a more neutral & TRUE stance politically - but that’s his film, he is smart, so it’s his wish however he wants to make it, we are nobody to tell him that. Have said this before, money is made but legacy is earned.

UNPOPULAR OPINION - #AamirKhan needs to stop appeasing to all section of audiences Difference between today’s Aamir Khan and the one 10 years back was the old one was confident in whatever he thinks and said it out loud and PEOPLE LIKED HIM FOR THAT! He had his own personality. Today’s Aamir Khan is way too affected by online trolls. You’re Aamir Khan man, not some XYZ Social media influencer.. stop being so scared.

Pt. 3 - Good films failed by audience? I’ll start… Billu (2009) - Such a heartwarming story with great music and the legend Irrfan Khan + Shah Rukh Khan combo directed by Priyadarshan. Maybe it was ahead of its time because people did not show as much love when it released but this is a very underrated film in SRK’s & Late Irrfan Khan’s filmography. #SRK #ShahRukhKhan
