Canada’s new housing minister says that the prices of existing homes shouldn’t go down and that affordable housing should be provided through massive government subsidies instead.
His position is economically illiterate and concerning.

Carney’s new Housing Minister said "no" when asked if housing prices should decrease. This is the former Vancouver mayor who oversaw a 149% increase in housing prices, making Vancouver the most unaffordable housing market in North America.
After a decade of Liberal leadership, home ownership is out of reach for many hard-working Canadians. Now Carney is doubling down—with a Housing Minister who doesn’t think homes should be more affordable.

He literally stole someone else words and ideas.

This scandal shows he lacks any integrity.
