If you come for me, I swear I will curse you. We all have areas where we want the government to do better, and yes, it's not a day's job.
Can we call the government out to do better? Yes, and at the same time, you can appreciate the little they have done. But cursing the whole state or degrading it is where we draw the line.
Or better still, be real with your pain and stop hiding under "government this" and "government that."

If you threatened me that you will beat me this week, I am currently at Eko Hotel. Here till 5pm. You are advised to come with your weapon of choice. But inform them at home before you come. Hug everyone. Then step out.
Never mind, I will fund your entire trip.

This man irritates me so much. 🤦
Why does he think a president has to routinely visit every state in the federation? What kind of class captain-level reasoning is this?
GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

One of my mutuals reached out to me and shared his article on property inheritance in the south east. He drew comparisons from other cultures including Ori ojori in the south west and more. He’s a 400 level UNN student and I think what he wrote is worth reading.

One week after the excitement, the energy and unforgettable moments of the Ikogosi 17.5KM Race, the memories remain fresh.
From the starting line to the finish, the 17.5KM race celebrated endurance, athletic excellence, community spirit and the tourism potential of Ekiti State.
Relive the moments. Celebrate the experience. The journey continues!

I posted back then, the post is still pinned on my X profile. I proposed that the group OBIDIENT movement should be proscribed & declared “a TERRORIST organization”, and all their members arrested & tried as terrorists, but most of you objected, now see!!
You posted a video of thugs harassing and assaulting someone, then captioned it a warning to thugs. The way you people boldly perpetuate criminal activities is insane! But I’ll give you the attention you deserve. @PoliceNG is it legal for people to attack others with sticks, cudgels and other weapons, then post online?
This is a warning to @OfficialAPCNg thugs and @inecnigeria
We will not tolerate any form of electoral manipulation and intimidation
We demand a transparent, free and fair election !!
