I think that this sort of statement, from a U.K. university @uniofleicester is unprecedented.

Of all the stories about this great show, this one is still my favourite. We rightfully talk about what James Gandolfini did for the success of The Sopranos, but David Chase knew the importance of the character, Livia Soprano. Nancy Marchand was born for this role and I can’t imagine the first 2 seasons without her. She was beyond outstanding.

It should have been over when he mocked a disabled person. It should have been over when he said he needed to find 11,780 votes. It sure as hell should have been over after January 6.

We don't know this man, Doug Whitley, but he's definitely an American hero for writing this excellent letter-to-the-editor. #ResistTrump

After weeks of rioting in Paris no one was killed. Which technically means your child is safer attending a riot in Paris than a school in America.

It is absolutely bizarre that the President of the United States is actively committing open treason with no fucking consequences.

This is so true.
There’s something oddly satisfying about spotting a book you’ve read in a bookstore and smiling at it like an old lover nobody knows you had.

1. Our skeletons are wet. 2. Your nose is ALWAYS in your line of sight, but your brain ignores it. 3. When you receive a donated kidney, they don't take out the bad one. They just add the good one in. 4. Your immune system doesn't know you have eyes. Otherwise, it would attack them and make you blind. Injuring one eye can introduce eye bits to the bloodstream and basically give your immune system the knowledge of having eyes. Then it might decide it really fucking hates that and attack your non-injured eye. 5. The quality of the male sperm is responsible for morning sickness, preeclampsia, baby's gender and almost every single pregnancy related issue. 6. You breathe through one nostril at a time. Don't believe me? Put your finger below your nose and try. 7. The brain itself has no nerve endings, so it can't feel pain. That's why patients can be wide awake during brain surgery and made to perform certain actions. 8. That ringing in silence isn't silence. When everything is quiet and you hear a faint ringing? That's your brain listening to its own nervous system. You are hearing yourself functioning. 9. You will never experience your own death. You only experience approaching it... Then nothing. Everyone else gets closure, stories, funerals, and memories. You don't. You never know you've become a memory. From your perspective, the story just stops mid-sentence.
Tell me something about the human body i probably don’t know.

Absolutely. I couldn't believe it when I first heard about them.
the idea that most people have an internal monologue bugs me the fuck out. like what do you mean there are words in your head???? wouldnt it take forever compared to just thinking in vague concepts and pictures? having an inner voice seems like it would be annoying

Galera, não me levem a mal, mas se vocês pegaram um livro emprestado com alguém há muito tempo e acham que a pessoa esqueceu, deixa eu te falar: ELAS NÃO ESQUECERAM.

Fun fact: It's NOT possible for the earth to be flat because if it was, capitalism would have exploited it by now. The “ends of the earth” would be tourist destinations with theme parks and hotels and a damn swing set that would let you swing over the edge.
