34 years after his Dad, Bob Fromm, scored the game winning TD to beat Grove City, Nick Fromm picks off a late pass to seal the win for Sharon over Grove City. Nick’s play is our Lock Stock Barrel Play of the Game! @Fromm22R
ON THIS DAY:
October 23 1992 – Grove City led Sharon 20-0 in the second quarter and held a 26-14 lead late in the fourth quarter at Tiger Stadium. But a pair of interceptions kept Sharon alive and after Josh Anderson’s one-yard run cut the lead to 26-21, quarterback Bobby Fromm scored on a one-yard sneak with 15 seconds left to give Sharon an 8-0 record. Grove City quarterback Brian Cavanaugh threw for 309 yards, with two of his four touchdown passes going to Walt Bestwick.
One of the great comebacks I have ever called.

Sad to hear the news of the passing of Farrell super fan Greg Scarmack. Per his sister Gayle he loved listening to our sports broadcasts weekly, always bringing a radio to the games and loved listening to Hugh and I on Monday’s. Prayers to Greg’s family and friends.
