The Story So Far...📖
More footy, more Arsenal, more content on the way - we're gonna be here for a while and have fun with it 🙏

Ultimately, people say Arsenal are boring because they don’t get the hilarious fireworks show they used to get from us. We’re champions and we typically handle our business while the other big clubs have become soap operas. The aesthetics thing is just an excuse they cling to.
Replying to @gunnerpunner
Because people never genuinely cared, the people that talk about it don’t like Arsenal winning (which is totally fine) but for some reason a lot of them feel like they have to pretend they have some kind of high minded, aesthetic objection. It’s bullshit by bullshit artists.

Replace “Joe Cole” with “Chompy”.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣
He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage.
City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.

Theres something fundamentally wrong with football culture, at least be funny ffs.
Using your platform to mock someone who received an award for helping kids in need, nice one @AJKNOWSBALL17

Idk why Arsenal fans are so agains getting Tresoldi. Understand that we need to add some pace but I would be okay if they reserve that for whoever the LW upgrade is. Tresoldi isn’t the finished article but we can liken buying him now to Klopp buying Lewandowski from Poland

Michael Carrick will be given more time to turn Manchester United's fortunes around after a meeting of the club's hierarchy on Monday.
Carrick's position as head coach appeared under serious threat following Sunday's 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth, a result which left United 16th and without a win in their last eight matches in all competitions.
However, following talks on Monday between the club's senior leadership figures, including co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, CEO Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox, the decision has been made to give Carrick and the players more time.

The lack of an appetite for excellence in the world (in all fields) is so disturbing
How on earth are you a sports journalist and not know Owen won the ballon D’Or?
And if you don’t know, how many seconds of research would that have taken? You’re conducting an interview fgs
Really poor

“It was an ill-thought out attempt at a joke and I got it wrong, folks.”
So you’ll delete it then? - no you haven’t
So you’ll actually apologize then? - no you won’t
So you’ll act your age and display the ability to discern when and when not to make “jokes” about things - Nope
Well, this tweet didn't land as intended.
In my stupor before bed, I thought the idea of winning a prestigious award for a Nando's sauce on Ballon d'Or night was funny.
It wasn't meant as a dig at Saka helping sick kids (which is obviously brilliant) and certainly had nothing to do with race.
It was an ill-thought out attempt at a joke and I got it wrong, folks.

Once people stop treating the Ballon D’Or as a legacy award that makes or breaks a players career, the less upset they’ll be about the result of it and we can gradually stop acting like the opinions of a bunch of journalists as the be all end all.

Just got a text that I passed my drivers license test but unfortunately they’ve awarded my license to the Spanish National Team for an incredible World Cup win
