ALT The first page of a comic involving Mad Maggie from Apex Legends. The first two panels are flashbacks to her breaking out of prison and her watching Duardo Silva due. The following panels show the present day as she returns to Salvo in order to find the loyal members of the Cracked Talon. She is surprised, however, to find out that the Cracked Talon's HQ has been turned into a fashion clothing store. Salvo is being rebuilt: There are shiny new buildings, hipsters getting coffee, people walking chihuahuas. This is not the Salvo that Maggie remembers.

ALT The next page shows a few years before that, when the Cracked Talon HQ still looked like it was fighting a war. The Cracked Talon mercenaries are taking cover behind the HQ windows, poking their heads out. They’re bandaged, bleeding, grim, covered in guns but still ready for a fight. Another Salvonian mercenary leader tells Maggie that Fuse has sold out and joined the Apex Games, that the future is coming for her. She will get left behind if she doesn't get with the times. The final pages of this page show a Mid 30s Maggie and Mid 30s Fuse, drinking and chatting. Maggie’s super enthusiastic about her plan for the future, but Fuse’s full attention is on the match below. Years before that even, we can see a gravestone that reads “Here lies Manu & Tangaroa Kōhere, and their loving daughter, Aroha.” Someone takes Maggie's hand and she stands in front of the grave.

ALT The third page of the comic reveals that Fuse is the one holding her as she tries not to cry in front of the grave. The next few panels are back to the modern day. Maggie is still standing in front of the graves, but now as her current age and self. The tombstones have Graffiti all over them. “LOSERS”, “SYNDICATE FIRST”, “WEAK”. Several tombstones have been knocked over. In the background, we can see a billboard of Fuse advertising Koala Kola. Maggie turns away in defeat and leaves the graveyard. The final panel on this page shows a wide shot of a prison carved into the side of a mountain in the middle of the desert. Maggie’s strolling up to the front gate, her arms are out in front of her and ready to be cuffed. Mad Maggie has given up.

ALT The final page of the comic shows Maggie now in prison. Her cell’s been given an upgrade: There are cameras and armed guards watching her at all times and the cell itself doesn’t appear to have walls, a ceiling, or a floor: it’s just glass, floating over a seemingly bottomless chasm deep underground. She receives a mysterious visitor only to realize - it's Bloodhound. They make an effort to reach out to Maggie and let her know that her and Fuse are still family. They speak Maori to her to remind her of her home and Bloodhound reminds her how inspirational her and Salvo were to the people of Talos and tells her that her work is not done yet. The final panel of the comic shows Maggie throughout the years, each section split into a different time in her life.
