I've had a lot of A-level students reach out to me and ask what NSE and USS are like. Its a lot of fun, the main bit of it for me was making friends at your own uni through a shared interest. If your uni has an Esports society, join it. Its not like US Collegiate where people go to certain unis for the Overwatch level though. Teams work with who happens to go to that uni at the time, and its often built around enabling 1 or 2 star players while they, in return, try to elevate their team. If you got your A level results today, congrats if you got what you wanted, if not don't panic. I got BBC (wheyy) which is fairly middling, not amazing but not horrible, and I got onto a degree apprenticeship course which was ideal for me and set me up for the start of my career. It's kinda like GCSEs where once you get to that next level of education you rarely get asked about the previous one anyway. I'm 23 and my friends who make the most money haven't got a degree, or went to vocational college instead of Sixth Form.
