I think Notre Dame is one of the most underrated teams in college football this season.
After going through the roster and schedule, I keep coming back to the same conclusion:
In my eyes, this futures ticket is basically a Notre Dame Moneyline bet against Miami.
Notre Dame returns an extremely talented roster. CJ Carr takes over at quarterback behind what should be one of the best offensive lines in the country. Aneyas Williams is a dynamic weapon out of the backfield, and defensively they're loaded. Christian Gray leads a secondary that returns four starters, while Leonard Moore headlines what I expect to be one of the best defenses in the country.
When I look at the schedule, I don't see many teams capable of matching up with them.
The one game that stands out is November 7th at Miami. The spread for that game is already out, with Notre Dame listed as a 6.5-point favorite. To me, that tells you everything about how this matchup is being viewed.
If Notre Dame wins that game, I believe they run the table and finish the regular season undefeated. Rather than waiting to bet them against Miami, I'd rather lock in +165 now. If they beat the Hurricanes, this futures price disappears.
