GIXCT&F

A huge congrats go out to Freshman Peter Westberg on being named a Checkers Runner of the Week!!! Peter’s top performance at sectionals this past weekend was top- notch and noticed by the organizers of the Checkers race. We are so proud of you Peter!!!

Proud coaches. Proud alumni. A perfect GIXC day.

So. Much. Pride. GIXC girls finish 5th at sectionals and boys take home a trophy and some patches as they finish 2nd. What an amazing day for both teams. Congrats to our seniors as their GIXC careers come to an end.

GIXC JV teams: The future is bright!!! JV boys dominate with a JV win and massive PR’s and the girls all PR’d. What a way to end the season!!!

GIXC girls: It was an epic NFL battle with the girls placing 3. So many amazing moments…all lead to these smiles.

GIXC Boys: Your NFL Champions… Humble for the win. Hungry for what’s next. Roll Vikes

Final words of wisdom from the GOAT Coach Jim Paccia. “It all comes down to two words: passion & family”. Championship season is under way. NFL championship meet tmw at Lewport. Roll Vikes.

Giving our captain some love!!! Tessa had 18 hills (for being 18 min late). After dividing them out (she’s currently on the injured list) she took the last one!

We battled some elements and some tough teams today. Boys fall to Lewport and head into the NFL championships as a part of a 3 way tie. It will all come down to one race! The girls split with one win over Lewport and one loss to NW. some tough racing happened today.

When a coach gets a text like this….you know you’ve made a difference! So proud of GIXC alumni Vanessa Shores for competing in her first marathon!!

When your assistant brings the fun to 400’s!!!!
