I'm from Queens, NY. My neighbors who moved next door to us in the 80s were Jamaican immigrants. They were great neighbors/friends of our family. I live in Inglewood, CA. My neighbors across the street are Nigerian. My neighbors three houses down are Ethiopian. We communicate regularly; a friendly relationship...no issues. This animus that some Black people exhibit against other Blacks, whether they are from the Caribbean or Africa, is manufactured by the same entities that divided us. 🤔
