I’m sure there’s plenty of Howe United fans gloating tonight, but that performance was no worse than the shambles of Everton at home last season (Joelinton left wing, Gordon up front, Woltemade centre mid still haunts me).

The reality is that this season is on a par with last season, only this season we’ve replaced players like Gordon, Bruno, Tonali, and Woltemade with Barnes, Willock, Nico G, and Osula. That’s not a defence mind, it wasn’t good last year and it still isn’t this.

Some very glaring issues with tactics, but the squad we have simply isn’t good. Defence: Filled with errors & lacking in pace. Midfield: All with zero creativity (Steur the exception) & no engine. Attackers: The only ones who have pace, but it’s accompanied by zero brain power.

Said from the start that anything 17 and up needed to be the realistic aim for us and still think that’s the case, but always caveat that with performances needed to suggest some hope and I think that’s the biggest concern.

#NUFC won, meaning we will see a barrage of support for Jaissle from "fans" who quite frankly, don't know what they are looking at. #NUFC didn't deserve to win that, #CPFC created more and had the better chances (mainly from set pieces). #NUFC now sit bottom of the xPTS table.
