Canadian heavy crude is fetching near-record premiums across the Pacific, bolstering the case for the country’s plan to build a new pipeline to its west coast.
A barrel of Canadian Cold Lake crude delivered to South Korea traded at a record $9.50 a barrel more than the Dubai crude benchmark in September.
It’s a stark contrast to the weakening price Canadian oil is getting in the US, its biggest market. Oil sands benchmark Western Canadian Select’s discount, called a differential, to a monthly average of West Texas Intermediate futures widened to as much as $28.25 a barrel in Alberta last week, the biggest in almost four years.

This is a major vote of confidence in Pierre Poilievre.
Cedric Lapointe, the former right hand man of Eric Duhaime - who just won big for the Conservatives in the Quebec election - is moving on to work with Poilievre in Ottawa.

Real GDP growth is negligible here. The US is roughly at 3% but these guys know everything

Never met another ER doc who tweets as much as this one. He must have a machine that folds time and space. Seems to have found an additional 24 hours in every day, just to tweet.
What a waste. Our real GDP growth is negligible while the US is powering ahead at roughly 3%. You aren't legitimate. How is the US losing trade war ? Why do we have record food bank usage here ? This is a disservice to those visiting food banks.
Not true. You just confirmed my point. There is massive manipulation going on. Its ok for some but others. Every post Ford makes it about unfair Trump tariffs. Like Eby. Carney starts every post with a dangerous and divided world. The Economy stinks. Trump is their only play
No we aren't that interesting. We really aren't.

We have the most cartoonish electorate in the world that depends on big daddy government to deliver those Federal government deposits. More specifically the retirees and Public Servant who salivate over those handouts. Liberals have governed 72% of the time. Kinda like China

Oh Dad💔💔💔💔, I don’t even know what to say. My heart is so broken that I feel like I can’t breathe half the time. 💔
These last two years have been such an emotional roller coaster, and I have never in my life witnessed someone fight so hard to live. You wanted to be here so badly. You fought with everything you had, not just for yourself, but for all of us.
As painful as these last two years have been, they have also been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Being able to walk through it all by your side, spending so much time together, and making memories I will cherish forever. Maybe that was God’s gift to us all along. Two years ago, things looked so scary, but you kept fighting. You fought long enough to meet Ranger, to make so many more memories with your kids and grandkids, and to give us time together we might not have otherwise had. Life slowed down, and we learned to cherish every little moment with you. I will hold those memories close to my heart for the rest of my life.
Dad, I am just so sad. It physically hurts. I already miss our daily phone calls, sometimes multiple times a day, talking about anything and everything. I miss your voice, your laugh, and knowing I could pick up the phone and call you whenever I wanted.
Even when you were going through the hardest battle of your life, you were still such a rock in ours. You brought so much joy to everyone around you. You were truly the funniest person, and somehow, even in your final days, you still found ways to make us laugh.
I have never known anyone stronger than you. I am so incredibly proud to be your daughter. I would give anything for more time, but I find peace knowing you are no longer hurting and are finally healed in the arms of Jesus.
I love you so much, Dad. I wasn’t ready for a life without you. I don’t think I ever would have been. Until I get to hug you again. ❤️

Congratulations to Lorne Doerkson on being elected as the next Premier of British Columbia.
This is a critical time for our country. I look forward to working with Premier Doerkson to break down barriers to trade between provinces, develop our natural resources, strengthen Canada's self-reliance, and create good-paying jobs.
